I ordered a pizza around 2:45PM on a Sunday. Thirty minutes later I got a text that my pizza was on the way. I live literally a minute away (but was busy cleaning at home so I didn’t choose to pick up my order) so I figured it would be dropped off quickly despite giving an estimated delivery time of 38-48 minutes. I checked outside my door repeatedly as more and more time passed - no pizza. I hate being one of those people but finally after an hour and a half of waiting I called to see where my pizza was. The woman who answered the phone called the delivery driver while on the phone with me and he said that he had dropped it off. I asked if he could describe the door he dropped it off to since I clearly never received a pizza. The door he described wasn’t mine and wasn’t any of my neighbors’. I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes after this. During that time, a delivery driver showed up at my door with what seems to be a fresh pizza - very warm but two hours late. He stated “I dropped this off right here an hour and a half ago. Maybe a neighbor took it.” First of all, the door he had described as having dropped off the pizza to was not mine. Secondly, I can hear when the outer door to my building opens (it’s loud and I’m right next to it) and it never did. Third, I opened my door at least 10 times to check if the pizza was out there and it never was. And finally, I know my neighbors and none of them would ever steal a pizza off someone else’s doormat. I’m not sure if he dropped it off to the wrong building or forgot to deliver it entirely, but lying about it is completely unnecessary. I’m pretty patient and easy going so I wouldn’t have been angry at getting my pizza late just as long as I got it. Accusing my neighbors of theft and myself of being too dumb or blind to see a pizza on my doormat is what did it for me. I placed a carry out order, had I know that ordering a drink would only be $1 I would've asked for that deal when placing the order but the employee over the phone didn't mention it. So I go to pick up my order and see the sign on the window that says this. In my mind I plan to ask for the drink when I am rang up but no one is at the register, no big deal I took a seat to wait patiently. The manager sees me waiting but doesn't speak or acknowledge my presents instead rudely she goes to tell a male employee something which starts a verbal argument between the two. A third employee comes to the lobby again not acknowledging my presents but speak to another guess waiting then goes back to the back. A few minutes later that same employee comes back out and rudely ask if I've been helped. I politely tell her no and as if I'm being a bother ask if I even placed a order. I tell her yes and give her my name. From the way she spoke on to me if my food wasn't already done I would be heading out the door empty handed. Because I was so thrown off I forgot to mention adding in a drink for $1. "I'm sorry I totally forgot I wanted to add a drink for a $1. I saw the sign on the window but it total slipped my mind." I stated. "Well you should've told me that before I rang it up now I have to get a manager who is on the phone, refund it, and ring it up again!" She was very upset. I ordered two pizzas and 2 double orders of cheese sticks for a group of children that were at my house. When my food was delivered, I only received one order of cheese sticks. I called the store and was told they would send my food out. 20 minutes later, I received a call from the driver who told me it would be over an hour. Over an hour for a missing item for a house full of kids.
I called the store and was told I had two options. Either wait an hour for my food OR receive a refund for the items I did not receive.
I called the store back and was put on "hold". However, the "manager" on duty just put the phone down. Not only was there yelling and screaming in the background, she proceeded to take an order with me sitting on the other line, repeated an entire credit card number, expiration date, and CVV. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL AND DANGEROUS.
When I told her that these two options would not work for me, she proceeded to tell me that those were my only choices. That they were very busy and that was all she would do for me. I told her how unprofessional I found her demeanor, that I could hear her reading credit card numbers back to a customer, and how disappointed I found her customer service. She responded by saying "I have excellent customer service and will make sure to tell me GM to ban you from ever ordering again"
