Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Village of Plover

I wanted to leave a review to let you know how impressed I was today in your Plover location. It was our first time trying Jersey Mikes and I was nervous, we have an 8 year old daughter with Celiac Disease so we RARELY get to eat out. Because our daughter can't have gluten there is only one restaurant in a 50 miles radius that we trust, Red Robin. I can happily say that after our experience today we now have two 🙂 Your employees there were extremely busy, with about 6 workers and a line. When it was our turn I asked the girl who was slicing the deli meat about their gluten free process, she was so kind and explained the entire process SO well. She then cleaned everything well and alerted the others working on the line, never once did any of the team seem put off or annoyed by this even though it definitely slowed the line down a bit. They were kind and made us feel so welcome. At the register we were even more thrilled to find that our daughter had a dessert option, a cookie that she absolutely LOVED! Thank you for catering to the gluten free community, it isn't often our daughter gets to feel like a "normal" 8 year old stopping for a quick lunch while running errands. I was required to wait over 20+ minutes for an order that I accepted, to be completed. This is theft of a contractor's time. I should not get the order until there is a more manageable window of time in which the order will be ready for pick up.

I'm sorry to the young man that was at the focal point of this frustration, I hope that a systematic change may take place in the work culture of this business.

Im honored to be able to leave the first review for this location! My son and I are visiting from out of town and chose here for lunch today. The staff was awesome, they were definitely working their butts off. The fire alarm went off which caused about a 5 minute delay, but we weren't in a rush. The staff handled everything amazingly and returned to business as usual when the alarm was over. Luckily it was a false alarm but props to the staff for handling everything the way they did.
