I've been kind of bummed since Starbucks closed their online sales and we have to deal with some of the local store employees. The 1 star rating is a reflection of only a few and not all of the employees at the local Starbucks. Everytime my wife or I go to the local Starbucks (Plover and Stevens Point, Wi location) and they are out of Breakfast blend or other items they tell us Starbucks is discontinuing it and suggest something else; we find out later items are not discontinued. Well yesterday my wife went in to get some Breakfast blend (Plover location) and was told yet again they are out and discontinuing it and they suggested something else. What they suggestion tastes nothing like Breakfast blend. I just search online and found nothing to indicate they are discontinuing Breakfast blend. I think this is going to be the "straw that broke the camels back" and we are going to start trying other brands for the coffee roasts we enjoy (breakfast blend and espresso). Again this 1 star rating is not a reflection of the product just the issues we have had with employees lying to us when they are out temporarily out of a item. I don't see what's so hard in saying, "I'm sorry we are out right now of X brew and i'm not sure when it will be in stock again, would you like to try Z brew it's kind of...
Read moreI have been to the Starbucks -Plover location, four times. All of my orders were “dine-in”. I ordered on all occasions one -1-grande dark roast-no cream. I hesitated to write a review on the first and second visit. I realized that by my third and fourth visit it is this Starbucks procedure on how they service a counter customer. I placed my simple order with the associate and was to step down to the counter on my left to receive my order. The first time I visited it took over 10 minutes to receive my coffee. The second, third and forth time is a follows: 14mins, 17mins, and 13mins. Once I placed my order it is a matter of the associate to pivot 180degrees, fill the coffee cup, pivot back 180 degrees and hand me my coffee. Maybe 3-4 mins to complete this order?However as I watched the operation I realized my order along with the other orders go into a que and I have to wait until the drive through orders, mobile orders, …ect are filled before I receive my simple request. Perhaps management needs to review their protocols and procedures? On the up side, this Starbucks is clean (includes restrooms) and comfortable. Read moreI usually don’t leave negative comments but this interaction really affected my day. I tried to do something good for someone and purchase the order behind me. The associate took so long to come to the window and once she did, she did not greet me whatsoever. Very limited communication with no respect. She handed me the incorrect order at first and then proceeded to forget my own order. When she handed me the correct order, I didn’t know if she had charged me for the person behind me as that was the first thing I asked for. She mumbled that they had a mobile order but I had to ask again because I could barely hear her. I was given no receipt for my own order and I didn’t get a thank you or have a great day! I did not know if my order was complete, so I sat there until she came back to the window. I requested to still pay for the person behind the person that had the mobile order. Again, no clarification when i paid for the order on if it was complete or not. I am unsatisfied with the behavior of this location as this is not the first...
