UPDATE: Today the employee fired because of my review was physically shoved around by a manager. A male manager at that shoving a smaller female emplyee I encouraged her to file a police report and hire an attorney. This all needs to go viral.
This place seriously can be a joke. First when they advertised open interview over a 3 day period from a certain time to a certain time, yet no one was there during that time to take an interview. Then they can't get an order straight not once but twice on the same order. But then to make an employee fake chipperness at all times or they get sent home. Like everyone is supposed to be happy at all times and pretend it's so great to work for them. Then tell someone with an emotional support animal is not a family member so no need to be sad or upset over losing them to the rainbow Bridge. Yes I know this review can and probably will have consequences to her but we will be prepared for that. I guess rather than waste money at the local Wendy's I will go back to only stopping at a Wendy's in an area I would otherwise be traveling to or through. Wendy's needs to do better especially with their employees. No wonder so many have already quit.
As predicted yes this did back fire greatly on the poor employee that was already being treated badly. However people should be aware of the work environment prior to experiencing it for themselves. It's also been brought to my attention that it's in the works to get this review removed so others can not read it. Which is fine we have local groups we can post in within the area and surrounding areas. Rather than rectifying the situations they will terminate the person who was the victim of the situation. This certainly isn't a place I would want to work or any of my family members much less support them financially. I am telling everyone how this place is being run. I was hoping the situation would have been properly handled but I see it will not be....
Read moreExtremely unprofessional and unacceptable. Went through the drive through, first they were unable to give me my change at the window. Told me to pull up by the garbage can and he'd run it out. Employee Will ran out my change. Minutes later another employee ran out my food whole Will was also running out food to another customer. I said I'm sorry but I don't believe in have the correct order, I ordered the nugget meal and not a sandwich. Will noticed I was talking to the employee and walked over. Another employee also walked out the door and all three were standing by my car window. I said again I did not order a sandwich, I had the nugget meal. Will grabbed the bag and receipt from my hand and said you said a #10, I said no I said #3. He argued back and said #10, I again said no, it was the nugget meal which was #3. He looked at the two other employees andbl stated, "this crazy woman said #10" and walked away throwing his hands up and shaking his head. I continued to explain to the two ladies that I didn't order a sandwich and that's what I got. They asked what I ordered and went it to correct it and also brought back the difference in my change between the two meals. Kudos to the two ladies for acting in a very professional and kind matter. Read moreI really feel for some of the employees here having to deal with such terrible management.
I also had an experience here today where I came in to pick up my doordash order, noticed that it wasn't done, went to the bathroom, came back out to find out that they literally still had not started working on the order. Not to mention that I also spent over 5 minutes driving to this location to pick up the order. There were no customers in the store, no orders to do. Just complacency and a bad attitude towards a delivery driver.
The lady working the counter told me that it was my responsibility to tell them that they had a doordash order. This is completely unacceptable and I will not stand for this. My time is very valuable and I refuse to allow complacent wage workers to waste my life.
Edit 8/9/25: it took them 16 minutes after I accepted the order to complete the order for pickup. The tip and the pay is hardly worth the wait let alone the 9 1/2 miles I had to drive to complete it.
