Luca's Pizza — Restaurant in Vineland

Last week I decided to stop by and have a slice and a soda. I ordered a couple of pieces of capresia sp? pizza and a large root beer. I sit and have my food, and I need a refill for my drink, the counterman told my wife, "one dollar please". She returns to the table, we finish eating and discussing the one dollar refill and I still have a slice left, so now I need small box. My wife returns to the counter and asks for a small box, the guy hands her a brown paper bag. (yes I'm aware that many pizzerias will place slices of pizza on the paper plates and cover it with a paper bag.) non withstanding I said the hell with it, some days it's just better not to fight it. However now it's been a few days since, and I'm still ticked by the overall cheapness of it $1.00 refill? WTH? and a small pizza box. A free refill and a box, has now lost a...

I consider myself a pizza connoisseur. There's nothing quite like an exquisitely crafted thin crust pizza hitting the palette. When I say Luca's pizza is the best pizza in the city, if not the county....nay, the state, I'm not blowing smoke up your finely firmed gym tookus. If God came down to Earth from heaven for a ninja slice, he'd yell cowabunga at Luca's quicker than the grease drips from the pizza to the plate as it's approaching your soon-to-be-pleased taste buds. If the Ninja Turtles lived in Vineland, Keno would be delivering a large thin crust on his scooter quicker than April O' Neil covering the latest breaking news story. I was going down to the Vineland area for over 1 1/2 years and I'm very upset that I only leearned about Luca's just in the last two weeks. I consider myself a pizza connoisseur, and I've been eating pizza all over the Tri State area and beyond, and I've had some of the worst and the best pizza. And I can tell you that Luca's has earned it's reputation as one of the best pizza shops in NJ. And I hope to go back there again very soon in the near future.
