The only redeeming factor of my visit was the lovely woman at the drive-through and how nice she was. But mistakes happen, I understand that. I had ordered one drink and a food item. But was charged for two drinks. My issue is with how was this mistake was handled. After realizing the mistake, I called the number at the top of the receipt (which is the same number Google has listed). It Went to a strange voicemail that asked me to input the number I was trying call. And didn’t specify if it was really Dunkin. Called several times, never an answer. there was a second number listed at the bottom of the receipt . I called that one and got a voicemail that said to leave a message and they’d get back to me in 24 hours. they did not. after 24 hours I tried again. They still did not get back to me. So I went ahead and filled out the online survey from my receipt saying I wanted to be contacted by somebody about the issue. Waited a week, still didn’t hear back from the survey or the phone call. Finally went in in person, explained the situation, and said that I either wanted a refund for the extra drink I was charged for, or to receive that second drink that I was charged for. (same thing that I had said in the online survey and in my voicemails). The drive-through attendant seemed timid about giving me the drink, but did. Wasn’t nearly as personable as the person the day of my original order. But it was delicious and I’m glad my issue was finally resolved, just super unamused and unimpressed with how it was handled up until that point. The number to the store listed should actually go through to the store so someone can answer the calls. The other number where they ask you to leave a voicemail and promise to get back to you within 24 hours… Should get back to you like they say they will. and, not this location‘s fault, but the survey people should also contact you when you’ve...
Read moreI went here while I was in Vinton to get some Munchkin's. When I pulled up to the drive-thru to place my order. I was greeted with a "your order?". Not a "Can I please take your order?" or "How may I help you"? Just a "your order?". I stated "I would like a box of 25 Munchkins please", and waited for a "what kind/flavor". Nope, all I got was "pull around". I said "I'd like 12 chocolate and 13 blueberry (or vice-versa) please". She said "okay, pull around". No clue what my total was or anything. No "thank you" or nothing. I get to the window, pay the hateful girl and pull off. Once I got home (45 minutes away) I opened my Munchkins for a chocolate donut. Did I have a chocolate donut? Nope. I had a box of glazed donuts. I was so mad I wasted my money here, I threw the donuts away. I contacted Dunkin' via social media and expressed my issue with the Vinton location with them. They said they would notify the store and they would be in touch. It's now been well over a week and nobody has reached out to me. So I contacted Dunkin' on social media again and told them that nobody reached out to me, and this must be the norm for the Vinton location. I definitely won't be returning here and my parents said they won't return either. They usually go once a week but not anymore. Thankfully there's a Krispy Kreme and Duck Donuts not too far away. When a swing manager shows attitude no matter the situation this is uncalled for, My check card was jerked out of my hand and I was talked to like a child in school needing parental guidance. I used to visit this Location everyday to get good coffee sometimes a donut or two, $5.00 to $10.00 a day. Not anymore. The speaker in the drive thru is like a walkie talkie speaker. With Traffic From Hardy road along with Clearview dr its hard to understand what your being asked. This same Manager would try to up sell a drink that had a very long name, (about 5 words in it) that you couldn't understand. Keep in mind when someone makes the decision to go to a DONUT STORE THEY PRETTY MUCH KNOW WHAT THEY WANT. To avoid listening to the up sale I drove past the speaker with nobody else in line, pulled up to the window and this Female Manager that was on duty opened the door clearly agitated and said to me YOU KNOW OUR SPEAKER WORKS. Well I was willing to let that go, But when she Jerked my card out of my hand that was it.
