I work in the food industry, so I understand everything that goes into preparing the food and how there are sometimes delays and not always the employees fault. I also don't want to make a big deal out of little things, but once the little things are more consistent, it gets a tad bit annoying. I really like Jimmy Johns and I don't have a problem with any of the workers, but they do forget things, especially on delivery orders. First and foremost, the wait time for the delivery drivers can be very long. Second, if I request them to write names of the sandwiches, they sometimes forget to do so. Sometimes I'll order the same sandwich, but how different toppings inside and it can be hard to tell which one is which. Another thing is that they have forgotten to give me my drink a couple of times. The first time, I completely forgot about until the delivery driver left and I was charged the $2 of the large drink and never received it. Granted, I could've just called and had it sent to me, but I didn't have the time and didn't want to make too much of a big deal. However, this has happened frequently, and when I have the time, I will say something, but it shouldn't be something that happens a lot. Just recently, they completely forgot the drink and the guy had to go back to the store to get it. They also forget the straws. Again, not the biggest deal, but this has happened so many times it just gets annoying. I just hope if this review can do anything, it tells the management to make these issues more known, if they weren't aware. Read moreI absolutely love this Jimmy John’s, first and foremost The general manager is extraordinary! He really cares about his customers. I work down the street in the office of AAA corporate and sometimes have to order my food while teaching a class. I’ll never forget him calling me personally to tell me that they were swamped and that in order to get my food to me on time that they would pay UBER to bring it to me. I couldn’t believe he went so far out of his way to do that. I was so impressed I started going into the store instead of ordering delivery, and the employees were the same. They took time with my food. The store was clean. Bathrooms were clean Customer Service always on point. I literally could go on and on and on. People usually take more time to post negativity, but when there’s an opportunity to post something positive, we should take just as much time to do so. I just want say… Jimmy John’s on Main Street in Virginia Beach you guys set the bar and you rock and it’s appreciatedthank you so much for the great Customer Service that you all exemplify every single day....

I live in North Carolina and I happen to be in Virginia and sawed Jimmy John's I thought I have to stop When I arrived I was not greeted The lady took my order I ask for a turkey Tom with cheese and advocato on a lettuce wrap when I got my food it was on bread Which was cooked very nicely and got hot peppers and jimmy Mustard.
