Oh boy, where to begin....
It was the morning of July 5th when a group of friends and I were bracing ourselves for a long ride, post 4th celebration. As you can imagine, McDonalds would come to mind for a delicious grab-n-go style breakfast. Little did we know bringing a small group would cause large problems....
Step 1: Order your food at the register The first order consisted of two items, one of which utilized an in-store deal from the McDonalds app. My buddy not only got charged full price for the meal, but the cashier had a hard time believing that the deal was available in-store (FYI it says on the app). After some dialogue, approximately 10 minutes had passed and there was still some struggle on the cashier's side. The line was building up and there wasn't any staff to support the lost cashier. Finally after another 10 minutes, a supervisor takes her spot to help finish the order and then proceed to taking mine. Everything was starting to speed up when the supervisor came over, but looking at the other register, the same problem was starting to occur - slow in processing the orders, and no one to help. Luckily I got my order taken within 7 minutes....!
Step 2: Eat your food upon delivery Tik tok, tik tok what's the time on the clock? Doesn't matter. We weren't getting our food on time any ways.
Now, I'm not going to criticize the food too much because it's a pretty standard recipe across the board. What I WILL criticize is the timeliness of the delivery. When you have a full kitchen staff on a day after a holiday, you would expect efficiency. That was not the case here.
It was about 11am, off the peak hours, and here we were waiting on a total of 6 items, most of which has taken less than 2 minutes to make. Four score and seven years later our food arrives. Not only did everything come out late, but the food arrived staggered.
I've always been an advocate or McDonalds, but this time I was truly disappointed with the service. Please consider my experience as a learning experience for you (employees) and attempt to work on the following things: -Time management -Team management -Communication -Customer Service -Supporting your colleague's when they're clearly struggling

Read moreThis McDonald’s is the most dysfunctional fast food franchise I’ve ever seen…
I submitted a mobile through this same franchise (unfortunately) multiple times, and without fail (no pun intended) they forget I exist and I’ve had to sit and wait 20-30 minutes before having to go in.
This time, I waited 15 minutes, walked in, talked to the first guy (recognized they were busy), so I waited until someone was available, then asked politely about my order—he briefly responded that he’ll look, then about 7 minutes goes by without any update….. but I can see he’s walking around working on another order (not mine lol) and never bothered to give me an update.
I never watched him speak to a single person, in fact.
I watched as the manager (I’m assuming) proceeded to point out to him that she thinks I’m the guy that was in spot 4 for mobile orders, to which he never responded (lol??).
I then watched as they started to work on my order……
At no point did that guy stop and give me an update.
At no point did the manager ask/apologize for the inconvenience/or apologize for the three missing McFlurrys (apparently the machine was broken? I guess…)
At no point while making the order did they inform me that the McFlurrys were unavailable—until they handed me the order—to which they did not offer to substitute, refund, or anything….
At no point did anyone apologize for anything.
The manager walked past me at least 3 times, never saying a word, but clearly aware that I did not have my order. 👀
I honestly never really care if it takes long to get an order. What is frustrating about this place is the complete lack of accountability, communication, and respect for people.
Had a single person said, hey, sorry your order is taking so long! I’ve been to plenty of places where they take forever to get your order, but EVERY SINGLE ONE stopped and apologized for the delay—just communicate, please? 🙏
I only put three stars for food because it’s McDonald’s and the fries are always...

Dear [Restaurant Manager's Name],
I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the service I recently received at your va beach Macdonald establishment. My experience was not only frustrating but also highly unprofessional, which has led me to reconsider ever returning to this location.
On Friday, March 14th, at approximately 6:30pm I placed an order for chicken nuggets and specifically requested two honey mustard sauces, for which I was informed there would be an extra charge. I agreed to the additional cost without issue. However, upon receiving my order, I checked the bag and did not see the honey mustard. When I inquired with the staff, I was assured that the sauces were inside. Trusting their response, I took my order home, only to find that the honey mustard sauces were not included.
I then attempted to resolve this matter by calling the phone number provided on my receipt. Unfortunately, the response I received was extremely unprofessional. The female employee who answered did not allow me to explain my concern and instead, without hearing me out, immediately stated, "The last four numbers of your phone number are XXXX, and I will give your number to the police," before abruptly hanging up. This behavior is entirely unacceptable for any business and demonstrates a complete lack of customer service and professionalism.
I expect a higher standard of service and professionalism from any business, and this experience has left me with no confidence in returning to this location. I kindly request that you address this matter with your staff to ensure future customers do not experience the same level of disregard and...
