Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Virginia

Came to Bruster's on Friday October 1st because we got a flier in the mail and my daughter wanted to go. The brownie Sunday was delicious, and my little one had had mint chocolate chip which was really good as well.

Gave 2 stars because they over charged us. We only Ordered a brownie Sunday and scoop of mint chocolate chip our total was over $13. I asked for a receipt twice and was told we would get it once they call us up to pick up the ice cream we never got it I asked for it again and they had already thrown it away. Then when I asked for the cards that were part of the opening events like free ice cream cone card free scoop card etc. I was told none would be available until Sunday. The young gentleman that helped us said that he wasn't updated on any giveaway. I showed the flyer from the mail Which showed October 1st thru 3rd all these things would be given away he said he didn't know anything about them and didn't have...

Always excellent service and their ice cream is top-notch with lots of flavors that change often. I have a 2-year-old with a dairy allergy so having vegan/dairy-free options that a toddler would approve is priceless. I also have a son with special needs who is nonverbal and he loves their ice cream so much; I can pretty much get him to do anything if it’s offered as a reward or prize and he will attempt to say ice cream whenever we drive by the store. I love that we are greeted with a friendly smile and they even remember us each time we visit. We used to go to Bruster's in O'Hara Township, outside of Pittsburgh PA. We haven't been in years, though. Imagine how excited our entire family was to see it opened in Manassas!! Woot! Woot! Our son had the pleasure of introducing his three year old daughter to the utter joy that is Bruster's. The Ice Creams were exactly as I remembered them to be. I got toasted coconut/caramel, my son got chocolate with peanut butter and my granddaughter had vanilla. Heaven, sheer, and utter Heaven in ice cream format!!
