Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Virginia

I am very dissatisfied with my experience today other than my server, who was very kind and understanding. I have worked for this establishment myself in Greencastle, Indiana, while attending college. My issues: Table was sticky when I sat down, which is extra concerning considering we are in a pandemic. However, I did see servers cleaning other tables while I was here so, that’s a plus. I had to work way too hard to get silverware. Meaning, it was not on the table and I was not given an opportunity to ask for it until I approached the front to request it. The salad was the nastiest thing I’ve seen in quite sometime. When lettuce is getting older, first, it wilts prior to breaking down and getting slimy. Today’s lettuce was all slimy. The photo I attached of the salad does not have dressing on it. The lettuce is just that slimy. The male manager was not helpful other than getting me silverware when I asked for it. I tried to show him the salad to let him know that the lettuce mix they were using needed to be thrown out but he dismissed me. He did not offer to make a new salad. He did not offer to take thee salad from me and instead instructed me to go back to my seat and tell my server to take it off the ticket. I found him to be rather rude to be honest. I ordered naked tenders that were a bit undercooked.

With that being said, I do love BW3s and will be back after I get the bad taste of this experience out of my mouth.

I have only been to this specific establishment one time previously. However, the experience was entirely different. Meaning, the quality of the food was good and I had a very pleasant interaction with a female manager (I believe she had blonde hair).

Therefore, I am hopeful that when I return, I will have a pleasant experience once again.

Lastly, prior to becoming an attorney, I supported myself by working as a server for over 10 years in a wide range of establishments (white tablecloth down to Pizza Hut), because of this experience, I have a better sense of whether a restaurant is running smoothly or not. Today’s experience made it clear to me that this establishment is not running smoothly. I understand we are in a pandemic and I am so grateful to not be serving for income at this point in my life. However, sticky tables, bad food, long waits and dismissive/rude managers, lead me to believe that there are serious issues going on right now and management might be the root cause (not the woman I met last time, but certainly the gentleman I interacted...

Great wings, horrible service. Possibly the worst customer service of any restaurant I've ever been to. We've been here several times & had takeout 4 or 5 times. EVERY time they forget something, mess up our order somehow or leave us waiting forever when we've eaten in. They don't even ask to refill your drink. They'd make more $ as we would get more drinks, but they never come back. Takeout: Got wings & quesadilla. Quesadilla had virtually no cheese & fell apart when picked up. Called & manager was very nice & gave us another order the next day. (much appreciated) This time the food was better, however they forgot EVERYTHING in the bag on the checklist. As a matter of fact the checklist was not done by anyone! It was blank. Hubby had to ask for his sauce 4 his shrimp. They gave us no blue cheese for our wings!! NONE. No dressing for my salad. No utensils. No napkins. No ketchup. Nothing. And my salad was bagged with all the hot food. WOW! Who is overseeing these people? This is crazy. So my advice? Check your bag THOROUGHLY b4 leaving the rest. U will have to ask for everything!! Check all your food. Ask 4 napkins, dressing, forks, etc. As 4 me, I don't care how good their wings are, I think I'm done with BWW. 2 many good rest. in the area to continue to give them our $$. The other reviews reflect that the service has been bad 4 yrs. so mngt. is not doing their job obviously. If u really want to eat there, make sure u have LOTS of time to kill cuz u will wait a very long time & have to ask 4 everything. The food is usually good, but the service is just awful. Mostly young people who stand around & joke/talk with each other & ignore their customers. I'm gonna try Stafford & see if...

This will be my last attempt at this location. We hoped it would be up to the BWW standards but it simply is not. We have tried this place multiple times, the food is hit or miss. Sometimes it's perfect, other times it tastes re-heated or Luke warm.

Today, we kindly asked to be sat a booth because we had 2 kids with us. We were told that we could not be seated at a booth due to not having a server for the area. We understood that and sat at the bar area. 10 minutes later another family came in, and they were sat sat the exact booth we had requested to sit at.

At this point we had already ordered our food so we stayed. Service was slow, unattentive and uncooperative. My wife and I, for years have gotten a tall glass beer, half and half of two different beers. They denied this request today, because one of the beers they only serve in a specific glass.....its a glass people! Doesn't matter if it's a tall boy, or shaped like a boot....its a glass! We had never been told that at any BWW, including this one.

Our server was nice enough, bar tender was horrible, rude, combative and seemed like she did not want to be there.

It is unfortunate because this one is so close to our house, but I'd rather drive 30 mins to Gainesville or stafford than ever...
