Tous Les Jours - Woodbridge — Restaurant in Dale City

Happy to have a place like this in town. The lattes and matcha were delicious. My complaint would be the service..the cashiers and staff when I was there did not greet us and weren’t very friendly. When I go to a cafe, I enjoy friendly and warm vibes and the cashiers were not that. Also this is a new and unique place in town — people aren’t going to know how it all works….the cashiers should be more helpful and informative. Ask if it’s someone’s first time visiting. Let people know that the beverages would be called by the number on the receipt. Ask if we want our pastries warmed up. The cashiers also forgot to give us our pastries that we already paid. I ordered a strawberry matcha and the cashier acted like i was crazy when i asked..but they ended up making it and it looked like a regular drink they serve. Maybe put it on the menu? The checking out experience wasn’t pleasant, but everything else was nice. I didn’t like the waffle — it’s hard and dry. Many of the pastries weren’t available at the time that I went (4pm). Overall, it’s a nice place to have in town for quality beverages...

My family and I went this afternoon to give it a try. Line was out the door but that was OK considering it has just recently opened. We got our items and got in line. We were in line for almost 40 minutes. These people werwnt ready to open. Opening weekend should have more than 1 cashier. We ordered one iced tea cloud drink and then proceeded to wait another 30 minutes on the drink. They didn't have tea ready so they brewed the tea in the moment and gave me a hot iced drink in a plastic cup. With no cloud on top. I just left it on the counter because I didn't want to deal with it anymore. The poor employees on the drink stationed kept looking at how to make the drinks because they didnt know how to. One guy came over and was super fast and let them know they were making drinks wrong. He was amazing but the others need more training. As I said, not sure they were...

The cake I ordered was absolutely gorgeous, but the writing on it was very disappointing. I had asked for “Happy Birthday Grey,” and considering it’s a bakery, I expected it to look neat and presentable. Unfortunately, the result speaks for itself. If I had known it would turn out that way, I would not have requested the writing at all.

I also want to mention that while most of the staff were very sweet, one of the girls was surprisingly rude, which made the experience less enjoyable. I was really looking forward to this new location opening since I often go to the Annandale bakery and was excited to have one closer to home. Sadly, this visit was a letdown, and I’ll likely continue going to the Annandale location instead. Where service is nicer and product is more...
