My wife and I had dinner there last night. The service was ok but the food was horrible. We ordered the skillet queso skillet. There was no cheese it was a bowl of chili. When telling the server she said she checked with the kitchen and the cook told her it was because it was the bottom of the pan and it was burnt. She offered to add some cheese if we felt we wanted it? Ok... then my response was you shouldn’t serve it then. No we didn’t want the burnt what was supposed to be queso? We got guacamole and chips instead and that was better. I ordered the Alexs Santa Fe burger medrare and that too was over cooked to almost well done. I tried to order a drink at 9:45 pm. The server told me she talked to the bartender and she said the bartender said they stopped serving 30 minutes ago a long time ago and that I couldn’t get a drink because she didn’t know they stopped serving. That’s was ok too but you shouldn’t tell your guest everything the employees say and in such a rude way.
My wife and I never get to go out and actually had a night without our kids. The whole experience was not good and the food was not good. No manager ever came by to check on us and there was no manger present at all. When ready to pay we had a coupon and the check needed to be discounted. Also we had the drink on the tab that I didn’t get so that needed to be taken care of. Our server told us the manager was at the bar talking to the someone. She continued to talk and finally after 20 minutes she decided to stop talking and finally discounted our check. We finally got to leave.
I love Chili’s and have been there many different locations. The food is great and we love going there because there is such a variety of different food and good drinks. I never leave reviews and was hesitant to send this one. I was so upset that I felt someone needed to know what is going on at that location if they don’t. I have continued to say server because her name wasn’t on the tablet. It just said our check#20011. We won’t be returning to...
Read moreWe waited several minutes before anyone assisted us. There was a young lady sitting at a restricted table with the cleaning supplies i m sure she was an employee of some sort but off duty can't imagine it was a real customer sitting at a table that s not available for normal seating as it had a giant blue X across it. Our server started out good, letting us know she would be with us in a few minutes and thanked us for our patience. She took our drink order 1st which was both alcholic and water, and she started to walk away but we were ready to order our appetizers, she started to walk away again but we were still trying to place our appetizer order. She promptly brought out chips n salsa which was our first order but no water. She had two chips n salsa one for us and one for another table of two men. She spent most of the evening at their table while dishes stacked up on another one of her tables as she was toooo busy talking to the two men all night. Our wings came within 7 minutes cold. I believe the wings were either a previous order never delivered or just plain dead and brought to our table. When we complained the server looked dumbfounded. When she went back to the kitchen to reorder the wings she PROMPTLY yelled out "My table said the wings were FREEZING COLD"! We never used the word "FREEZING" just that they were cold. Of course because the wings had to be remade they came out two minutes before our meal. I ordered a California Club sandwich............i have no idea HOW?????? The Cook ONLY, and I MEAN ONLY cut the TOP slice of the bread..............the rest of the sandwich was not cut!!! So needless to say......not a very pleasant evening. Will not be returning to...
Read moreIt's a Chili's. You've been to one or one of the restaurants with a different name but identical menu types. This visit to this particular Chili's was different because of the circumstances and the serving staff. We were a little curious about the less than half-full dining area after driving past multiple restaurants with full parking lots and lines waiting out the door, presumably waiting to be seated. The hostess was quick to get us seated with menus in our hands. The first hurdle we came to was that coffee was not available because "the machine that makes hot water isn't working". Now, I know, I could hear a griddle/grill working. I was amazed but I suppose they never had to resort to a kettle. No worries. It happens. And we heard about the shortfall in one of the most entertaining exchanges we'd ever had with a waiter in a restaurant. We ordered a loaded nacho appetizer with chicken and guac, enchilada soup and a quesadilla salad. The first thing to arrive? A big ole basket of plain nachos a small bowl of salsa and a dinner bowl of guacamole. I stared at the nachos, not wanting to touch them if they were someone else's order. I waited patiently for the waiter, he acknowledged the mistake and he left the nachos and guac while we waited for their loaded cousins. A cheer went up from the kitchen and we were informed the hot water making machine was back in play. The rest of dinner was solid with an attentive serving staff and nice family atmosphere to round it off. I'm still curious about the low attendance compared to other local restaurants but I wouldn't ignore this place as an option...
