I have dined in many FW locations in different areas, so I am not new to the menu. This FW experience has to be the worst I’ve ever experienced. I’ll start out by saying the only positive about this place is the Morning Meditation drink was good and the food was not salty. That’s it. On to the experience:
The restaurant is not busy but a decent amount of people. Plenty of staff, kitchen staffed. Along with our entrees we ordered a side of English muffin with jelly and a cinnamon roll. The English muffin didn’t come out until I had to flag our waiter for it. A few minutes later the English muffin came out with what looked like frosting, and the cinnamon roll came out with gold sprinkles on it but no frosting as they have pictured everywhere. The white goop in the English muffin was very sweet icing or frosting as I smelled and tasted it.
I had to wave down the waiter and mention the English muffin and she immediately without hesitation fired back with a “it’s whipped butter!” And looked at me with a blank stare, which I proceeded to tell her I don’t want the English muffin anymore. The waiter asked if I wanted another right after I said I didn’t want one and to avoid further confusion I said “Sure with no butter”. I got my English muffin but I’ve already lost my appetite at this point…
Never checked to refill beverages, the seats were dirty with grease stains and crumbs… the service was really bad but they get 2 stars for food that want salty. **id have more photos but I was back and forth on...
Read moreGood Food, Nice place, Pleasant staff but this is a popular eating place so go early. First Watch is a popular restaurant chain that specializes in delicious breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. It was founded in 1983 in Pacific Grove, California, and has since expanded its presence across the United States. Today, it boasts a considerable number of locations, with over 400 restaurants spread across the country. This extensive reach allows customers to find a First Watch conveniently, whether they're in a bustling city or a suburban neighborhood. I have visited at least 3 locations in 2 states. One of the standout features of First Watch is its focus on health-conscious options. The menu includes a variety of nutritious choices, such as egg-white omelets, fresh fruit bowls, and whole-grain pancakes just to name a few. This particular location is located on the north side of Prince William Parkway just to the west of I-95. It is in a stand-alone building with a good amount of parking. You are greeted by a hostess and seated in a first-come-first-seated order. The seating is a mixture of tables and booths. The waitress was friendly and efficient. The menu has a good assortment and plenty of choices. I ordered a waffle. It came out quickly and was very good. The restaurant filled up quickly and so I suggest going early to get a seat without waiting. Overall, It was a very pleasant, friendly, clean, and delicious experience that I would recommend to people wanting a good meal...
Read moreWell, this First Watch just opened approximately two weeks ago. Just like any resident in Woodbridge I like to try out new places to eat. This morning, 17 DEC around 9:30 AM my family and I went there to eat breakfast. We were a party of 6, including a 7 and a 2-year-old kids. We were told that the waiting period was around 20 minutes. We sat down and waited just like everybody else. Of course, we didn't expect to be call in 20 minutes, however, we did expect to be call when our turn came up. Well, this is when the problem started. After about 30 minutes I noticed that they called another group of people (party of 5) that checked in AFTER US. I got concerned and asked to talk to the manager. He came in and indicated that they were preparing a table for us. I explained to him that wasn't the problem. The problem was that we should have been called first. I asked him why the other group was called before us and he DID NOT have an explanation. One thing I know for sure, I will never visit this place again. It was a horrible experience in particular when I had two small children with us that were looking forward to eating some pancakes. Of course we left after the incident and ate in another place. If you don't want to be disappointed just like we were DO NOT visit this place. I gave this place a one star because is the lowest I can give. I would gladly give them a -10. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DO NOT...
