10/10 recommend!
Ordered delivery of dinner. Online ordering process was smooth and website easy to navigate. Checkout was also easy.
There was a progress bar to indicate when they received my order at the restaurant to process. I was given an estimated time for delivery, which was surprisingly exact to the minute. (Extra kudos to the delivery man for punctuality, which is increasingly rare to find). Delivery man was friendly, polite, and respectful.
Food was packaged carefully, placed into appropriate containers for the type of food, and separated in the bag. Inside the bag they used layers of cardboard to stabilize it so it wouldn’t turn over and spill. Nothing was spilled. Nothing leaked. I’m very thankful that they did not use styrofoam!
Food was freshly prepared, seasoned authentically, proportions were as expected, and food temperature was consistently hot dish by dish, exactly as if we had ordered in restaurant and had it delivered to the table straightaway. We all concluded the flavors were delicious in every dish (also a rarity).
They also sent a rice paper bag with a generous quantity of typical condiments and fortune cookies. I really appreciated that they bagged those together and didn’t just throw it in the bag like other places usually do.
Note: Chopsticks were not included, and I did not think to ask or look on the ordering site to see if there was an option to request them. I had some already, so it wasn’t important this time.
Including screenshot of what we ordered. Highly recommend the Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef,...
Read moreWell I stopped in here for a quick bite as it’s the only option for a Chinese buffet in the area.
It smelled good when I walked in, but after trying several items the smell was just the smell of disappointment.
I had gotten: a crab Rangoon, that was cold, soggy, fishy, and completely disgusting, a veggie spring roll and egg roll that were both cold to the touch and soggy in the middle, a serving of white rice, which was at least hot, a serving of lo mein which was ice cold(this one had decent flavor minus being ice cold), a serving of the hot pepper chicken, which at this time was sludgy, syrupy, with cold grainy chicken(which after swallowing the first bite i immediately felt sick and had to leave).
The only saving grace here for me was the peppercorn chicken, which was actually fresh and hot, the flavor was on point; I just wish the other items on the buffet had this much love and is the only reason this is a 2 star and not a 1.
The staff are friendly, this just is not worth 40$ for two people to eat food that is mostly inedible. You need to do better as there are a ton of options that I can get a hot...
Read moreA small buffet but most of what I tried was okay. While I was greeted with a smile and seated promptly, my waitress looked like she was having a bad day.
The General Tso's chicken was sweet and lacking flavor. Crab rangoon filling was tasty but the wrapper was chewy. Overall the steam table needs to be hotter as most foods were lukewarm.
Summary: I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but if I was in the neighborhood, I would give them another shot.
Edit: Stopped in for lunch on 6/21/18. The 3-star rating stands. The service was good and the food is okay. Nothing great but it's a cheap lunch. Overall the food seemed much hotter than last time.
The egg drop drop was gelatinous with a film over it, so I gave it a pass. Egg-rolls were dry but the spring rolls were tasty (neither were greasy, a common finding at buffets). No crab rangoons this time but the General Tso's had a bit of heat (and is still...
