Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings — Restaurant in Virginia

Last week, Wednesday, I was craving a chicken sandwich. I went to visit the restaurant on Sudley Manor in Manassas, VA. The bright red bird graphic on the wall really brighten up the room and keep your eyes busy and the aroma filled your nose with the fried chicken sandwiches cooking in the back of the kitchen. The area was clean, and the awesome, polite staff greets you once you enter the restaurant. The staff was ready to take your orders and explained the spice levels for the choice of chicken fried sandwiches. The aroma is hard to forget while you wait and are hungry. I went to order a Mega Sando sandwich combo with waffle fries with the Hangry Joe's special orange sauces. I choose a mild favor for first time, it was ready to be served in the basket. I took the first bite, and BAM! My taste buds were going insane—not too hot for a mild, with the juicy, flavorful, along with cinder slaw between soft buns. As I chew, the crunchy and crispy is delicious when dipped in the Hangry's orange sauces along with the seasoned waffle fries in between. The portion size of the Mega Sando sandwich is huge. I was craving once again. One week later, I returned today to the restaurant today and ordered 3 more combo Mega Sando and brought home for my parents to try. You could say the aroma of Hangry Joe's sandwiches will make you Hangry again! I can't wait to...

Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken Wings is hands-down one of my favorite spots. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere—beautiful decor, uplifting vibes, and staff who go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Their customer service is truly exceptional, which makes the whole experience even better.

Now, let’s talk about those chicken wings. They’re absolutely mouth-watering—crispy on the outside, perfectly juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. It’s the kind of deliciousness that makes you slow down and savor every single bite. I find myself thinking about them long after I’ve left. Whenever I’m in the area, it’s a no-brainer—I have to stop here.

Stopped into this shop after having fasting for 12hrs and getting blood drawn. So I was unusually hungry. Perhaps not the best time to take a risk on a new eatery. Fortunately I was pleasantly surprised by the Chicken Sando. Cooked at the time of order and served on a fluffy Brioche bun with a slice of pickle and slaw. This sandwich was a wonderful meal. Very hot upon delivery and the large butterflied chicken breast was moist. I ordered the spice level 'medium' and it was just about right for me. The spice made me squirm a little in the middle before getting to the slaw, but after hitting the slaw it was just right. The meal comes with waffle fries and a drink. the waffle fries, for me were a sometimes treat and today they were a very nice addition. They came with a little cup of dipping sauce. Although honestly, the dipping sauce added no flavor to the experience.

The establishment is kinda bland. They had two different types of music playing simultaneously at about the same volume. That was a little annoying. Low marks for atmosphere and service, but the food...
