IHOP — Restaurant in Virginia

If you’re coming at 3 AM, you’ll be just fine. Food was exactly what I needed. Something right before going to sleep. Asked about the two tacos, not sure what the size would be. Something nice not too much but not too little to make me sad. It was so awesome they came with a side because I looked too much at the pictures to read and that’s my fault. Portion was just right. Sizable for something I thought would be small. Priced well with those fries included.

Here’s what gave it the full five stars: I came in and only one other table was there. They were loud rambunctious and made it clear they were Latino. I only say this concerned for them in these times we are living in. I am also Latino. I heard them say in Spanish they’re gonna tip the waitress 5 cents. Here’s the magical part. She could not be phased by it what so ever. She was happy to serve them, almost appreciating what a good time they were having shouting out laughter and banging the table. Was really special to see. A magical moment you only capture if you you’re not glued to your phone. I was between three options and voiced my concerns, portions, condition im gonna sleep. Barbie took care in her answers and was even honest with me about how the cook tonight is a good one and that some do skimp. So grateful I caught those two tonight. She was so good to me she gave me company like I’ve known her my whole life.

I wouldn't give this place any stars if I could. Years ago we didn't have any IHOPs near us, and so to come across one was a real treat. Now we purposely don't frequent IHOPs unless there is no recourse. When we got to our motel (9:30 pm) all other restaurants nearby were closed or about to close. So we went to this IHOP. Our food server acted like she was PO'd because we stopped. The four of us ordered different breakfast items. My wife's and my bacon looked like they were barely on the grill to heat them let alone cook them as only one of the four strips looked cooked. I ordered eggs over well that were actually scorched to the consistency of melted plastic. Our daughter ordered French Toast. When we went to pay our bill one of the cooks took our money. Not the host. The next day our daughter asked if anyone was bothered by what we were served? I said, 'Yes, I have never had heartburn before so I don't know what it is like, but I believe that I had heartburn for the first time ever.' She said she had heartburn too. I don't recommend IHOPs and I don't particularly...

I usually go to Charles Town I hop But after working 17 hours I was hungry. My favorite is the waffle sandwich. Today it wasn't it came with scrambled eggs and is to have over medium and a sweet maple glaze. ..I sent it back I got over easy eggs and when they took the scrambled eggs off my cheese went too. It's too have six pieces of bacon I got 1 For 9.29... The waffle was cold when returned and soggy No maple flavor after I asked directly when sent back I go to get checked out and the waitresses throws my slip away....I said I need that because I was going to call the 1888 to complain She said it will print you a new ine I had a coupon thank God the manager came and helped me. ..No new slip printed she made that up. The manager gave me everything for free.
