TGI Fridays — Restaurant in Virginia

We chose this location specifically, (drove from Winchester where we could have eaten instead). The best part of this experience is how quickly we were seated. There were perhaps a half dozen tables seated. The remainder of the experience was abysmal. We ordered fairly quickly however, our app arrived 30 minutes after we ordered and it had clearly been allowed to sit and cool prior to making it to our table. Somehow, the potato skins were hard, as if burned, yet cool to the touch. Our salads and meals came in quick succession following the app. The salads were warm and the food was as well, not hot as expected. Again one entree (chicken) was only warm while also being overcooked and hard. Another (steak) was cooked well, not medium as requested. Tenders and fries were warm at best. And finally, the chicken parm was also just warm, the sauce was congealed. The waitress checked in once or twice for beverages, leaving every plate, platter, and cup on the overcrowded table so that there was no room to comfortably eat. We did eat some of the food as we were all hungry. We brought the majority of the food home to hopefully try to doctor and enjoy. If not, it will make its way out to the barn for the farm animals. I would really love to say the the server was at least decent, alas, she was subpar. She was inattentive, and it was evident that every part of our meal, from app to entrees, was left to sit after being cooked. It was truly a disappointment. Recently ate here, literally on our way out of town to move to another state. This is one of the few places in the area that is open late and serves a plant-based burger so we were already familiar with the restaurant. Our server was lovely and the food was good. A nice cap to a day of packing and managing logistics for a big move. Where they really shine, though, is their service to guests. My youngest son lost his wallet in the restaurant and we didn’t notice until it was too late to go back. I called and spoke to Dustin who said he’d look for it. Tonight, he called to say it had been found and they were going to find a way to get it to us since we no longer can stop by to pick it up. My son and I are so grateful and Dustin was lovely about the issue. If ever you have have a concern or complaint, this place will go out of their way to make it right. Highly recommend because your experience here matters to their team of employees and management!

Updating here because I can't get anyone at the restaurant to return my call or even pick up a line when I do get someone at the front to answer. The GM supposedly mailed out the found wallet twice. USPS Informed Delivery never showed a package coming and, of course, it never showed up. Now no one at the restaurant will take my calls. Not sure what they actually did with the wallet but it never did get back to us. I believe Dustin tried to do the right thing and the ball was dropped by upper management. I was looking forward to going to tgi on Fridays because i have never been, and i always like the frozen apps from Walmart, lol. However, walking in the music was very loud, and it looked pretty dirty, like someone hadn't swept at all. (We were the second people there that morning at 11ish) The bartender ashley greeted us very quickly, and she was very, very nice. She sat us at our table and came and got our drinks. When she came back and took our order, I asked for a bowl of broccoli cheese soup, and my wife asked for a cup of soup to start. We also added wings and a million dollar salad. The only thing i will say about ashley was that she didn't write anything down, and she gave us 2 cups of soup and not what i ordered, but no biggy. However, when we got our soup, it was pretty darn cold, and ashley warmed them up for us. When we got our mains, the wings were tough, and the million dollar salad was more like a a fewdollar salad .. so we finished our meal and went to the bathroom, and it looked like nothing was clean from the night before?
