Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Virginia

I came down to Front Royal for a vacation and me and my sister stopped into this Tropical Smoothie and we got nothing but rudeness and disgust. There was a young lady being the counter taking orders, the people in front of us weren’t able to pay because of THEIR card machine, the lady told them they needed to wait to have their smoothies until THEIR card machine worked so those poor ladies had to stand there like THEY weren’t able to pay & the lady taking orders was just rude about the whole thing. Me and my sister place our orders, 5 minutes go by, 10, 15.. by this time there had been two other couples and two single people that have walked in and ordered, got their shakes, food and left. The guy in the back kept bring out smoothies and food that weren’t ours, 20 minutes rolls around and people that came in after us were leaving. We walk up to the counter because we want a refund there’s no reason we shouldn’t at least have our smoothies yet. She proceeds to tell “if you want a refund that’s great, I’ll have to call my manager so they can come down here to refund you” “okay” I said, already upset at the situation. Then she says to me “ thanks for being understanding….” And proceeds to tell me her work details of what all she has to do. She was not being nice or reasonable in any way.. I used to live here and this used to be a great place to come and relax with a smoothie, after what I’ve experienced I will never be going to a tropical smoothie again. I’ll be generous and give 2 stars for the amazing smoothies they usually have. With the exception of today. I give this place a TON of service and money. Even though the service is very quiet and stand offish. The two girls seem absolutely miserable to be here. They did not wear gloves. I came here and they ran out of CUPS!!!! This is the only thing they need to keep in stock, how does this even happen? I have an idea….MANAGEMENT.. maybee go to the nearby tropical smoothie and borrow some of theirs? To get through the day and keep your customers satisfied. They only had children size cups. Two of them is still maybe half of the big cups they have. I drank about 4 sips of each and it was gone. They didn’t fill them up like they usually do. I was so disappointed. Especially right now because I had my wisdom teeth taken out and 3 extractions done, tropical smoothie had been my meals everyday for a week straight. I am usually so happy by the time I finish it, today I’m still hungry and disappointed with the service/smoothie. Two small smoothies is more money than the big standard cup they have. The girl who greeted me was wearing flip flops she didn’t greet me and seemed absolutely miserable to be working and didn’t talk the entire time. The other girl was in the back staring at her phone the entire time with her hand behind her shirt fixing her bra or whatever. I finished 1 smoothie before I left the store, got in my car drank the 2nd one was about to start my car realized I wanted 2 more was about to go back in and they shut the lights off and locked the doors and it’s 8:50, they...

We had a very unpleasant experience! We came in to get breakfast in the morning. It was pretty empty there. Just 2 other people that ordered before us. We ordered our breakfast wraps and we waited for about 10 mins, thinking that this is better quality fast food that it's worth the wait. Then one of the lady workers came out and apologized that it's taking so long because the ovens are not heated up. Then we waited for about 5 mins more another worker girl comes out and apologizes that she forgot to turn on the oven and that we need to wait another 7 mins!! I was about to walk and go find another place but we already paid for it. Finally, after 7 minutes or so we got our order. That's a total of 20+ minutes for simple breakfast burritos (bacon egg and cheese), and mind you, there were no other customers the entire time we were there, except the two that left soon after we came in. And this not all! The burritos were very very flat and under heated! They were hardly warm! The cheese in there was not even melted, It looked as if it just layed out on warm sunshine and not not anything to being in the hot oven. We had horrible horrible experience...
