I frequent the Front Royal store, #1625 very often. They are generally very slow and consistently running out of items, regardless of whether it's slow or busy. Most times, I'm in the store for no less than 15 minutes; however, the pace around here is pretty slow so I normally let it go and be on my way. However, tonight I went into the store around 7:30 and had one person in line in front of me. I got two bowls, one with white rice and one with fried, both with chicken teriyaki. Upon getting down the line the server realized there wasn't enough chicken and asked the cooks for more. She told me it'd be a 15 minute wait and I said that was fine. She then poured my rice from my bowls back into the woks (sanitary?) - I had puppies in the car and told her I was going to sit in the car with them and then be back in. At 7:45 I went back in and sat down at a table; they weren't working on my bowls so I assumed the chicken still wasn't up, until I noticed that other people in the line were ordering chicken teriyaki. As soon as I stood up to ask, she noticed me and confirmed that I wanted white rice and fried rice. She cut up the chicken and asked how I wanted my sauce and I told her on the side with one extra, please. She pulled three side containers out and literally scraped the bowl to barely fill them - telling the cooks then that she needed more. I thought all three were going to me, but she only put two in my bag and gave the third to a couple in line that had just ordered chicken teriyaki. She then asked if I needed any sauces and I said yes, I need an extra teriyaki. She deadpan looked me in the eyes and in an extremely rude tone said "Well you'll have to wait". I would have walked out right then, but since she had no problem having me pay at 7:30, I agreed. I left the store at 8pm, THIRTY minutes after I ordered. I could have gone to a sit-down restaurant and received my food in the same amount of time. Not only were they unapologetic, they were downright rude. & I understand that you have other people ordering, but I was there first and should be served first. If it were me, I would have apologized and at least refunded one bowl for the thirty minute wait. It might have been excusable had this been a first time experience, but I'm forced to wait for my food here ALL THE TIME. The staff is slow, wait until the last second to ask cooks for food, and then act like you're somehow an inconvenience when you want something they're out of - I love panda, but at this point I'd rather go to the buffet...
Read moreWe traveled from Winchester to front Royal specifically to eat at panda express. As soon as we walked in, we headed straight to go order and the man at the grill, working the walk suddenly turned towards my husband and started giving him a stare. That was so hard and intent, no matter what we said to him he completely kept staring, with no regard to how it made us feel and it was super weird. The lady who was helping us made excuses for his behavior and said oh he’s just staring, which was even more weird because she said to me that he was having a bad day. So we tried to continue finishing our order, when I went to tell my husband, make sure you ask for the managers name when we leave and I whispered it into his ear, the lady at the counter got offended, and said that if we didn’t like the service, or if there was a problem and we said yeah we told you what the problem was because they never acknowledge that it was being done first of all second of all. The lady got attitude after that and next, so you know she’s telling us she’s not serving us and trying to basically shove us out the door And my daughter was so hungry and started crying. It was the worst experience of my life ever going into a restaurant and having this kind of environment let alone customer service personally I think those two need to be reprimanded for their behavior. I my husband spoke with the manager. as soon as we walked out and the manager was appalled by their behavior and told us that we were allowed to go back in and continue our order, which was really uncomfortable at that point, but thankfully they ordered the lady at the counter, to go to the back room, and not say a word to us by then grill guy was trying to apologize and make excuses for him staring intently at my husband. We still don’t know why he was staring so hard or what his problem was that is not our issue and it shouldn’t have been delta upon us like this. We will never go back to this panda express again and I was, completely satisfied with...
Read moreI always drive an hour just to come and eat at this particular location and today was no different. My husband and always come and spend a good amount of money because we just love the food but today was probably the worst experience I have ever had with any restaurant!!!! We came in and not only did we didn't get greeted but the staff was very UNFRIENDLY and UNPROFESSIONAL to top it off since today is a "holiday" they close at 7 which meant none of the entrees where ready they were making food as you ordered, many customers as myself were frustrated because they where long waits for our food and the portions they were serving where ridiculously small compare to what we are charged for..so when I asked why was nothing ready all I got was dirty looks from the cashier named Karina and the manager named HEIDI was just as bad or even WORST!!! I asked for the store number and General Managers name and her response was looking up online.. WOW!!!!! This has definitely left a bad taste on us that we will no longer be making a 1hr drive to come and get treated this way, PANDA EXPRESS is a chain company and you guys are running a business therefore you should really upgrade your staff and professionalism to treat your customers with respect and sympathy because we pay for...
