The attached customer door is locked for entry during business hours with no courtesy notice to customers provided on the door.
A manager told me it's for security reasons and could not cite a corporate policy backing it up, which may mean it's to keep people from walking in from the street and using the restrooms which are immediately inside or grabbing mobile orders, but mobile orders are not left on the shelf, and one can still walk in the other door and access the restrooms relatively easily, and he could have just said so.
There was also a table occupied by a sleeping gentleman and what appeared to be numerous blankets across from him.
An employee taking out trash or some similar outdoor duty used a key to reenter the store rather than walk the extra distance to the open door, so employee safety has the potential to be reduced especially in the evening, and a master key to the store may have to leave the premises multiple times a day which is not a safe practice for key and access control.
Wheelchair/disabled access to restroom and mobile pickup may also be hindered.
Not sure which aspect of security or service the management is attempting to provide to customers...
Read moreMy sister and I came here to enjoy a meal in the dining area. We got there and they were out of fried rice. They told us it was a seven minute wait which turned in to a 15 min wait. Some woman who appeared to be the manager told us to sit down for the wait didn’t even allow us to pay for our food. Then when the rice finally came up, they served everyone in drive-through as well as some customers who came in after us! Absolutely ridiculous! This is a new restaurant you know fried rice is your one of your main menu items, so you should not be out of fried rice. It was very bad service all around. No one really greeted. You couldn’t tell who was working at the front. They were more concerned with drive thru then anything else. Also saw another manager who didn’t even bother asking us if we were served yet, more concerned with door dash and mobile orders who came in after us as well, making a plate with NO GLOVES!! This was my first and last time going to this Panda Express. I’ll stick to the Yorktown location. DON’T GO HERE...
Read moreI went to this Panda Express today. I was completely ignored. I stood at the "order here" spot and was stared at like I was a crazy person. The workers were only interested in the drive thru orders, and someone who appeared to be a fellow coworker who dropped by to pickup lunch. I stood there for 5 minutes like a total smuck, no one even bothered to acknowledge I was there, and when I tried to draw attention, the cashier just turned away and went to help the kitchen staff. They weren't busy inside the dining area... they just didn't give a damn about me. Guess I didn't look like the kind of clientele they wanted. WORST PANDA EXPRESS I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO. At least the others pretend I'm someone who want to buy something. Will never visit this place again, and will tell others...
