Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Virginia

I don't write reviews ever but I needed to with this place. I saw the rating but I thought eh its Pizza Hut how different can it be. Throw all your preconceived notions of what horrible pizza and bread sticks can be! Here is your new standard for which to measure all horrible food! Remember the thick crispy pie with tangy seasoned sauce from Pizza Hut? You won't get that here noooo. The pie was thinner than the cardboard it came in with a thimble of sauce on it (I ordered extra sauce btw) while being at 100% room temperature which I don't understand because they got to me in like 25 mins so I probably got some old pizza that never got used or delievered. I ate one slice and now I have a headache and anxious feeling anytime I go more than 3 feet from the bathroom. Remember the crispy brown, slightly greasey, seasoned bread sticks with that thick Mariana sauce? You guessed it, you ain't getting that here. The bread sticks were barely cooked and had some weird yellowish goo (garlic butter or something?) all over them that had hardened to a plastic coating and once again was at room temperature. I would describe the taste to you but I doubt many people have eaten soft styrofoam flavored like old gym sock with some oregano on it. If you want to, get the breadsticks. And the marinara sauce you ask? It's like they took the real pizza hut sauce and cut it 5 times with water and tomato puree or something they think will make it taste italian. This is maybe my second online review of a food place in my 30 years of life because I just never saw the need. But I need the people to be warned. No one should suffer the severe disappointment, migraine and mild disentary from this sham of a pizza hut. I can't believe this place is allowed...

This was the worst experience I've ever had ordering a pizza I was told my pizza would be here in 40 minutes and waited and hour so I called and they hung up on me this went on for another hour and then I noticed they charged my credit card and I went there myself to see what the problem was and as soon as I get there I called from my car to see if they were actually hanging up on people and they actually answered I asked about the pizza and they told me the delivery guy left 20 min ago i only live 3 miles away so I knew it was crap and went inside and a woman who worked there was yelling at the other workers and stormed out the door and left (I witnessed her leave in her car) and then the phone was just sitting there ringing off the hook and a kid about 16 or 17 would answer it whenever he felt like it and he wasn't even in uniform and asked for the manager but he was "busy" and I waited for about another 30 min to talk to him and after having to fight with him to talk to him because he was apparently behind on orders i finally got my refund and a reciped that said my pizza was deliverd at 10:45 when it wasn't even delivered at all even if it was thats an hour and 30 min later after i placed my order and like i said i was told 40 min so I will never order from pizza hut here again but thank you for a horrible and hungry night. When they advertised 50% OFF any menu-priced pizza, I didn't realize they were talking about the toppings! Seriously half of the pizza was completely empty. (See picture)

I absolutely LOVE pizza hut, and decided to give them a try despite the bad reviews. Bad decision. Here's a list of everything wrong with my $25 delivery order: Aside from the topping problem, the 2 pizzas were cold and dry. The container of 8 boneless wings I ordered only contained 7 wings. The lemon-pepper fries were cold and chewy. And finally, the delivery driver came up to my door yelling on his cellphone the entire time he was here. I know that isn't necessarily something "bad" with the food like the others, but it just seemed very unprofessional. As much as I love Pizza Hut I won't be going back to this establishment. Seriously trust these reviews, unlike me.

Edit: Just called back, and spoke with Larry. Even though I know I probably sounded agitated on the phone, he kept it his cool with me. I called just to tell them how bad it was, and even said I don't want a refund or for them to re-make the pizza, but he still got me an $8.00 credit to my next Pizza Hut order. Bumping my review up to 2 stars instead of 1. And Management, you need to fire whoever your chef was tonight. But not Larry. Larry's cool....
