I had the worst experience ever. I always eat poke in different restaurants.. and this one was the worst so far. We starting eating and we realized the rice was totally raw, when I went to complain, an old lady that work there, was so rude and started to fight and get mad because she didn’t want to change my bowl with a better rice (the minimum she could do).. in the end when she decided to give me a new bowl with a new rice, she wanted to charge me for the sauces I’ve had it already before. Such a bad experience. After that, another costumer came to my table to say I was right about the rice being raw. Never coming...

Enjoyed a reasonably priced ramen bowl with Flavor. Have tried other high end ramen restaurants and was disappointed with bland broth and boiled meat. Life is too short for boiled meat! While Pokerea lacks sophisticated ambiance in a mall food court, flavor is their obvious priority. I can make my own ambiance at home and save the money. Everyone knows ramen is cheap and yes the good stuff takes a little more effort, but it’s still cheap. They also offer yummy rice bowls which are served in earth friendly paper bowls. My husband and I eat a plant based diet. We were very pleased to have found a place that serves vegan ramen. Our first time to Pokerea was a few months ago. Ramen was very satisfying and we talked to the staff about being plant based. Been going regularly, last time we went we again expressed how great it is with the vegan option. The sweet staff acted very surprised and said no no the ramen is not vegan, noodles are made with egg. Very unpleasant news to say the least. Despite that - we absolutely recommend...
