Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Virginia

The wait time was long for a fast food establishment. I waited about 25 minutes just to get to the register and there were not even that many people in line to justify the wait time. I have experienced longer lines at other restaurants with faster service. The primary reason I rated this place 1 star is because the staff calling your order number was extremely rude. If the customer did not hear her call the number, she would loudly yell it with an attitude. I noticed that she would say the number quietly as if every customer is standing at the counter. Almost every customer that ordered went to go sit down in the restaurant to wait for their food, so obviously they could not hear her mumble a number from afar. When she got to my order, she said it quietly, so I was unsure if my number had been called due to the other voices around me and the voice of the cashier asking other customers their order. Because I did not respond fast enough to my order being called, she decided to yell it with an attitude and then make a rude comment about me to the cashier. The cashier decides to laugh at the comment. The staff is very unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome. I would never eat here again...

Showed up during my hour lunch period to wait in line for 15 minutes with 2 registers and only 1 being used. Finally got up to register to be told that they don’t have blackened tenders because they are still frozen, they don’t have any more mild tenders. Your only options are chicken and spicy tenders. In my mind, if you advertise a product at a fast food restaurant, then you should have it prepared and ready. The girl at the register seemed to become annoyed at the fact that I was questioning the fact that they were ill prepared at 1215 in the afternoon. Horrible preparation and planning. I can speak for all the employees, but she clearly needed some customer service Training. As I walked out of this place annoyed at the fact that I came in the first place, I am told sorry by the girl in the most condescending voice. I bet you are. I would give this place less then a star, but from my view it was at least clean. I would complain to the Post itself about the managing of this place if I thought it would resolve anything. The horrible fact is that this is the only Popeyes...

I went here 4-28-22 while I was door dashing on Fort Lee. I had two orders and the pick up and delivery for both should of taken at most 10 minutes. When I got there one of my orders was already on the counter waiting for me. But the second one which was two sandwiches and some fries. I waited over 40 minutes for. The manager was yelling at her staff the entire time. It was clear that the staff was handling the volume better then the manager. Eventually she got so irritated she walked off and said she needed a moment and shut herself in her office. I know that sometimes the food industry can get over whelming. But yelling at your staff for everyone to in the lobby to hear is just unacceptable. Especially when you are yelling over something so minor like stop getting fries outside of the fry pan. I’ve honestly never seen anything like it in all my years. When she did finally come out of her office she immediately went right back into yelling and threatening to write people up over fries on the counter. If I never had to go here again it...
