The only reason I truly give this a 1 star is because I love popeyes and I was excited to see one in the mall. Otherwise if I could I would give it 0 stars. I work in the mall and I decided to have popeyes for lunch, when I get back from lunch a Co worker asked "what did you eat?" When I told him I ate popeyes he said "wow good luck, that popeyes has been giving everyone a stomach ache for the past week now. Surely enough about 2 hours later I get a terrible stomach pain. My theory is that they cook so much chicken because they are in a mall that the oil is old and needs to be changed sooner than a normal popeyes. Hopefully this is the problem because it is an easy fix.
Other than this issue the customer service is absolutely horrendous! It is by far the worst, most chaotic unorganized place to get food in the mall. The numbers have 5 or 6 digits in them so when they call the numbers out into a busy food court they are yelling a long number and people are constantly checking their receipts to see if it's theirs or they have to ask again what was the number called. This is also a easy fix ... shorten the numbers!.
Popeyes I'm sorry but I should be charging you for this type of advice because it can mean thousands of dollars lost a day just because you want to save 80 bucks on a couple of containers of vegetable oil.

Read moreplaced mobile order, went to the counter and clearly stated the information of my order (specified name clearly). The cashier said it's being worked on.
10+ minutes pass, no update on the order, no follow up with us. Just watched the cashier guy continue to take orders and a bagger lady come and fulfill at least 5+ orders that were placed after mine.
Why was this?
Because the cashier guy and bagger lady did not communicate with each other.
I had seen the bagger lady pack my order and just placed it on the "hot rack" without so much as calling out the name of the mobile order. I knew it was my order, but wanted to see the level of incompetence. Would either employee follow up with a customer who has been standing there for 10 minutes? would they decide to call out the name of the mobile order or just leave it there and discard it after a while?
My food sat there for over 5 minutes before I finally inquired about it.
The chicken was cold and the bun was stale. It's evident the chicken is past 30 minutes old, which is standard regulation.

Read moreThis Popeyes restaurant seemed to be catering to the Hispanic population. There were two lines open, however when a Hispanic customer came to order the Hispanic cashier would state that there was only one line open, but would preceed to take the Hispanic customer order by speaking in Spanish. Other guess would ask if there were one or two lines open as well and said I guess two if you are Hispanic. I asked the cashier for the manager and he said that he was the manager. I asked him for his name and he would not provide that information as well. He did not have on his name tag. It seemed as if the entire restaurant was being ran by the Hispanic culture with no diversity at all. I was very displeased by the service and did not buy anything. I will be contacting corporate headquarters to report this type of behavior to the owner. It was blatant discrimination as I will never spend my money at this restaurant and advise others to not...
