Smoothie King — Restaurant in Virginia

This is a franchised Smoothie King operated by some very friendly ladies. I was on business at the Pentagon with a colleague and she mentioned that she frequented this venue often.

It's very conveniently located in what's termed "Pentagon Row" and although we drove we could have easily walked from the Pentagon. The surrounding area and shops co-located looked clean and up kept. There is also 30 minutes of complimentary parking available in front of the store. Nice! Especially in that part of town.

Once inside the venue the line was long! This is not a place for you if you are in a hurry or on a limited lunch break. When you order at the counter you receive a receipt, but don't actually pay until you arrive at the next cash register.....okay, whatever works.

I do love their protein smoothies and create my own little treasure on each visit. However be advised these things are full of sugar. Be careful of that or opt for other substitutions or simply have them sans sugar.

This store also offers a variety of other health-concsious food/snack options and vitamins. But honestly those items are overpriced and you'd be better off going elsewhere. It's really smart marketing though...while you're waiting in line for your smothie one can't help but pick up items out of sheer curiosity or boredom. Meh.

Good products though. Tropical Smoothie is still my favorite...

After seeing the other reviews of your employees closing early, I am not surprised. Your manager Michael S. Told me it was closed when I walked into the store a few minutes earlier. I even called to give a heads up that I was coming from across town and would be cutting it close so they could possibly prepare it ahead of time. Michael told me if I am not there by 1000, he could not serve me. I politely said I will call right back if I will be making it before 10, but no one picked up my multiple calls. I ended up walking into your store a few minutes before 10, but Michel S. And fellow employee refused to serve me. They did not give the slightest respect or customer service. Michael S made it clear that the owner nor himself care about this...

Frequent customer but..... me and my partner ordered our usuals and another couple after us asked for the same smoothies but with different add on’s/substitutions. When I went to pay, the receipt showed the other couples order. When I addressed the man, he told me he confused the receipt but the drinks are correct. I then said are you sure because there’s a lot of differences. He said “I’m sure, I made them”. He actually confused them and the girl had ordered no almonds and he added almonds (after the smoothies was made) and re-blended the smoothies and gave it to me!!! I hope she doesn’t have a Nut Allergy. He then gave us attitude after we asked to remake them. They didn’t taste anything like our...
