Starbucks — Restaurant in Virginia

I typically go to the Starbucks in Target because they understand the assignment, well they are remodeling so I've been going to this Starbucks and typically it's hit or miss. Usually if something is wrong I just toss it. On at least 4 occasions I've tossed my drink, today I had enough and decided to have them correct it.

My order is the same!! A Venti Iced latte with Brown Sugar syrup, cinnamon powder mixed into the drink, and dark caramel syrup with a brown sugar cold foam. I'm wondering who wants to drink a big ole heap of cinnamon powder off the top of their cold foam. Like I said I end up having to toss it and maybe my 13 dollars everyday does not matter in the grand scheme of things to you guys but it matters to me!

Instead of correcting it, she proceeded to tell me "Next time just tell them that at the drive through", "Ma'am I did that", so she says they'll fix it. I am 41 years old and have been drinking coffee longer than most of these workers have had a job and I am very specific so I don't know if this is too complex for them but she hands me the drink and proceeds to double down on being passive aggressive and in front of other customer says "Take a drink here to make sure it's right this time", at that point I'm done and I told her "No, I'm not tasting it and just leave".

They didn't mix the powder into the second drink either so I will not be going back to this Starbucks, I'll just wait for the one in...

If you aren't sure on how to make a drink look it up or look at the app. I got the frozen strawberry acai lemonade to try something different and it looked nothing like the picture (I'm aware it'll never look as good as the picture). But when I got home I looked at the notes where it tells you about the drink in the app and it says strawberry flavors and tropical acai notes blended with real strawberry pieces, strawberry puree and lemonade for a refreshing frozen... etc. Strawberry pieces nor puree were put with the rest of it in the blender. They basically made a regular one without the dehydrated strawberries and one girl made a comment I think puree goes in the bottom so they put a tiny bit of puree in the bottom of the cup and poured it in and called it good. I should of looked at the app before I left and saw it then but I shouldn't have to. I don't understand why they would guess. Does Starbucks not have a recipe book they...

Friendly staff, easy in and out. Well today I needed to update my review. Seems this store is falling into the same category as every other Starbucks I've visited. Within the last 2 weeks, my drink has started tasting different. I don't know if the iced coffee recipe has changed again or if someone is adding a little extra to my drink. Only 1 drink of my last 3 trips had tasted normal. Today and 1 or2 days last week it tasted like mocha or chocolate syrup has been added. Since they've updated to the iced coffee blend, the coffee flavor has seemed to dissipate. Today it tastes like burnt chocolate, but not every day. Well at least they're on track with the other stores. Nothing better than playing Russian roulette coffee drinks when your in a hurry to get somewhere.
