Stay far away. This was by far the WORST/NASTIEST place I have ever spent a dime with. It’s so much to address that it’s hard to even start… My wife and I attempted to eat here today and so much went wrong… From customer service, To my safety, To my health! I will try to be short and sweet. After standing at the register and everyone walking past us for about 10 minutes someone finally came to the register and took our order. As we waited for a ridiculously long time a guy comes to the register and throws down our smoothies. We ask what are the names on it and he walks away. Literally ignoring us. I ask the other cashier if he heard us and he states that he has a migraine… I’m confused on how a migraine effects your communication with your paying customers. Anyway I’ll skip to try to shorten the story. As we awaited our order the same grumpy cashier decides to walk to the front of the store and lock the 20 customers inside. At this time it’s maybe 10 minutes before closing. If I had to make a guess I’m sure that is against fire safety. Which I will be filing a complaint as well. I ask the same cashier why would you lock 20 customers in and he stated “As if I care”. Frustrated but at this point we had spent so much time inside we continue to wait for our food. Fast forward - we get home and I have a hair on my quesadilla and she has a fly in her smoothie…. Smh I can not make this up. How does one experience so much at one time. The negligence in the company is horrible. As I stated the customer service is trash, and my health and safety was placed in a compromising situation. Ps. I do not write reviews. And I forgot to mention they first gave my wife the wrong order and dropped the new one on the floor before going to make another one. That was just human error but to add that on to the other stuff… it equals a sloppy, unorganized and over all bad establishment. Also judging by the pre comments it appears they are not to pressed to address the issues. I will NEVER spend another dime here. If I was you I wouldn’t either unless you want to eat someone else’s DNA or have a...
Read moreIn tropical smoothie currently and watching crew working hard and providing excellent customer service and although it is very busy they’re keeping the atmosphere and their spirits up! All except one individual, a gentleman cooking the food is visibly upset that customers keep coming inside, almost as if he’s overwhelmed with the workload/orders. I understand it can be a bit much at times, but it is necessary to always keep a positive attitude at all times and to never let anybody, especially paying customers, see you sweat. This gentleman is working hard and at a very quick pace but a conversation about his overall attitude and demeanor in the workplace is an absolute must. At no point should it be okay for anybody to visibly display frustrations about being busy. Your paycheck is walking in, smile and thank us for coming in. I do not feel very welcome nor do I think I would return if I know this type of behavior is allowed in the workplace. Fellow employees have to deal with this individual and they’re keeping a positive outlook while he is openly upset and displaying and acting out his frustrations with constant head shakes of disapproval each time a customer walks in or puts in an order for food. Complaint is about the Caucasian gentleman with a shaved head and eyebrow piercing. Be more friendly and also when calling their name for the food, maybe thank us for coming in or apologize for the wait like the fellow employee who made my shake did. Tighten up. Customer service and a positive/negative word of mouth may make or...
Read moreWorse location by far. The staff is always extremely rude. There were still whole leaves in my smoothie on one occasion in addition to staff being rude. Another occasion I placed an online order, arrived at the store ten minutes after I placed my order. Ended up waiting in the store 30 minutes after my arrival for my order which was only one smoothie. The first person I asked about if my order was ready, checked the refrigerator and said it wasn't made yet. She then looked at the receipts on the counter and said your order is right here and will be up shortly. After another 15 minutes of watching people that came in after me have their smoothies made and given to them. I asked another woman about my smoothie. She said "I'm making yours right now" as she held up the blender in her hand. Another 10 minutes past and I asked the same woman about my smoothie. She then turns and asks the first woman about my smoothie. That woman goes to the refrigerator a second time and looks around and pulls my smoothie from the back. When I walked outside and placed my straw in my smoothie it was so watered down. I might as well been drinking straight juice. From now on I will take the extra 10 minute drive to the Tropical Smoothie on Iron Bridge. It's out of my way but I have never had any issues with that...
