Dunkin' — Restaurant in Visalia

10/08/2023 was my first time ever to Dunkin Doughnuts and will probably be my last, at least at this location. I arrived about 9:15 am walked in since there was no room in the drive through line. I walked in two people ahead of me one behind. I observed for a moment realized there was only two workers work so I figured gonna be slow no biggie I don't have to be at church until 10:00am. About 15min later I finally get to ordering, I order a large carnal blended drink and I think two sandwiches and a dozen Doughnuts. I've never been wanted to try a little of everything since I've heard amazing things. Get my Doughnut and then noticed people waiting outside the door not sure whats going on I tried to open the door it was locked weird. I told the person working no response then other tried to leave and they couldn't get out. Come to find out the lady working the counter purposefully locked the door. We were locked in the store for 15min before they unlocked the door. Multiple people in the store was yelling and saying unlock the door the workers didn't respond. After they opened the door let people out and people in they tried locking the door again. I was mad thats illegal and a huge fire hazard. I told her do not lock the door if she does I will call the police she didn't. It was around 10:20 and I finally got my drink already late and feared to get locked in I left. I didn't even get all my food they said no where near ready for the food. They were extremely backed up with mobile orders and drive thru and walk in. I understand that what mad me furious was being locked in the store and the people working didn't care and wouldn't open up after multiple people protested to have them open up. I'm going to be writing corporate about this incident and to get my money back since I didn't get everything. Lastly the blended drink was so water down barley taste of coffee or caramel. I only went in to buy a gift card as a Christmas gift. There were two girls in line together when I walked in, wasn't busy. But I didn't expect to wait 15 mins, 20 mins top to be in line, it felt forever with these girls which turned out to be off duty employees there, and kept changing their order, not once but twice and then decided to pay separately. They also kept chatting with the cashier and making a scene with the cook for changing their order. And these employees were rude. There was no "sorry for the wait," never once acknowledged there were others in line. By the time I could make a purchase she couldn't find the gift cards or envelopes, it was a mess, I was ready to leave. Decided not to order anything. My purchase only took a minute, got my card and was glad to leave this shop. Thank God for drug stores that carry gift cards. This review deserves a zero star cuz your service was TERRIBLE and I will never go back. I do not recommend...

I was in the drive thru line since 9:48 p.m. (not including the time I was waiting in the parking lot line) and I finally get to the area I am suppose to order and they tell me "I am sorry but we are closed" so I have to wait another 10 min or so to even get out of the line... I go around to ask the employees "what happens to those that were waiting in line before 10 p.m. then Carlos (store manager) comes out telling me where the line ends (mind you I was within the line) and he says he has a lot of stuff going bad and they are just closed!!! Simply rude customer service!!! Wish y'all would've done better training class for your managers... No niceness for the people that waisted time waiting in line and all I wanted was to try the coffee!!! No thanks I'll stay with the faithful...
