Makiritto — Restaurant in Visalia

Went here on a Tuesday evening. Located in the food court in the mall seating and parking are abundant.

I wasn't too familiar with the items on the menu and how ordering them work, so I was able to get assistance from the cashier. I ended up getting a Maki Combo. It comes with a protein and 3 sides. I chose Fire Shrimp, Garlic Fried Rice, Pork Gyoza and a house salad. My friend ordered a Makiritto. The amount of food in the combo was abundant. The fire shrimp wasn't too hot and the garlic rice didn't have much garlic. The owner advised that I can request for hot and more garlic, but if you have those ingredients on the food shouldn't they already be prevalent on the food item? The house salad was delicious and something I'd definitely buy by the quart. The mango madness tea was delish too.

Overall, a pretty good spot. Worth checking out if you like Island/Asian style cuisine. The cashier was helpful and nice. I paid about $17 and change for my items and it's worth what you get. My friend said the Makiritto was a tad overpriced, but...

In my opinion, It wasn’t a good experience. The food took over 20 minutes to come out and the portions were not adding up when taking the price into consideration. We ordered the beef bowl and the beef was extremely cheap cuts, 90% of it was fat. In addition, the bowl was mainly rice and vegetables, and the rice was somehow watery. The makiritto was also primarily rice and some vegetables. The Shrimp bowl says it comes with 6 jumbo shrimp but the shrimp in my bowl were very small. The Boba tasted chemically and were made...

The food was great! Really nice flavors and very filling! The Crispy Pork Belly is a G.O.A.T the flavors just mesh so well together. Regardless of getting it in the bowl or the 'makiritto' you will not be disapointed! As for the boba they make....😍😍🤤🤤 the boba pearls are always fresh and especially right now with it being hot out, they really hit the spot! The staff is great! I was graced with meeting the owner/chef he was so nice, an all around cool dude! Will definitely be making this a regular...
