Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Vista

I have been coming to this chipotle since they opened and have had nothing but good service until today. Today we walked in and almost immediately saw the cook using his hand to stir the rice he was adding water to with no gloves on, he continue to touch more food products with no gloves on. He then proceeded to pick his nose and cough into his gloveless hands. When we got to the front I apologized and said I would not be buying my food because of what I saw and told them what I saw, the girl at the front did not seem to care at all. I walked out and then back in to get his name, as I was walking in they were laughing while talking about the situation. As a vegan I am always thrilled when I find a place that serves stuff that I can eat. Chipotle has an option called sofritas which is a nicely seasoned soy based product for their burritos and bowls. They also have an assortment of other items on the menu that are vegan including the rice, beans, veggies and more. It's a great place to have a meal that will likely be more than you should probably eat, but you will force yourself to finish it anyway because you don't like to waste food. Note, the burritos are huge, and halfway through the meal they can get pretty messy, so grab a bunch of napkins. Or, if you would rather not deal with messy eating you can get a bowl. I had the spicy chicken ramen 🍜 it was delicious. The broth was absolutely flavorful. I also tried a broth that is made from peanuts and it was surprisingly delicious as well. I highly recommend the ramen. I also ordered a lychee mango lemonade which was so so good and refreshing. I don't enjoy sweet drinks and this lemonade was not very sweet, the balance of flavors was on point. Their character buns were very good and a hit with my daughters. The wait was a bit long, so be ready for that but the wait is worth it. There's plenty of parking and inside the restaurant's aesthetic is awesome.
