Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Wake Forest

I ordered the 2 for 5 and they said that both of their friers were broken, so I got a chili dog and pretzels for my sister. I then ordered the 2 for 5 for myself and got pretzels and a Diet Coke. They charged me and I was standing there for a little bit until she came back and told me they didn’t have any Diet Coke, so I got two orders of pretzels because I couldn’t get refunded. They gave me my food and I left. When I got back to work, I realized they forgot my queso, I tried the pretzels to see if I could live without the queso, but the pretzels were so dry that I decided it was worth it to go back. When I got back to Dairy Queen, they told me they were out of queso. I don’t know why they didn’t tell me that when I ordered. I got back to my work to eat the pretzels and noticed one of my pretzels boxes only had two pretzels, when they are supposed to come with three. There was also a HAIR on one of my pretzels. Update: The store manager has since reached out to me in regards to my review. She listened to what I shared about my experience and rectified the situation. I appreciate her reaching out. We are partial to DQ ice cream and look forward to going back.

We love getting ice cream at our local DQ. Unfortunately yesterday we were disappointed. This is the second time we have gone and ordered cotton candy blizzards, have paid for extra toppings, only to not receive what we paid for. The cotton candy blizzard is our favorite one, we love the sauce and candies in it. Apparently this DQ location has been out of the candies that make it the cotton candy blizzard, which was not made known to us both visits. We paid extra for sauce and candies in the blizzard, only to get cotton candy blizzards with extra regular springs. I know that was done to compensate for not having the cotton candy candies, but the employees should let us know beforehand or even ask if we want regular sprinkles. Walked in here on Sunday and was never greeted . I say hello to the young white guy he act like he couldn’t speak back . I then asked if I can do the new cookie crunch in a cup he said no they only doing cones . Ok let me get the cone add cookies on the side .
