The Corner Venezuelan Food — Restaurant in Wake Forest

The were in Asheville recently during a trio of festivals. Often with the lunch rush, food trucks speed up to try and keep pace often messing up the food in the process. That was not the case here. This food came out tasting perfect and exactly how we ordered it. The rep at the window was both knowledgeable and courteous. The portions were generous and the price was right on target. Living in an area where most of the Latin food representation is Mexican, this food truck brought a diversity that was severely needed. As a Puerto Rican and a NY native this truck was the closest thing to home I had eaten in a very long time. Best part, the food digested well too. Unfortunately, I ordered a hamburger. Aside from the fact that they don't even have onions or pickles for the burger and perhaps the lady could have been friendlier, the real problem I had was that the meat was nearly raw. I got it from the food truck in the parking lot at work, took it back to my office, took a bite, almost threw up, and went back out to complain. It was 1:00 PM and they already left, so now I'm forced to do a chargeback on my credit card. And, of course, I won't be getting any food from...

Literally liars. Ordered steak and they ran out and tried to give us chicken sneakily. Woman was incredibly rude, charged us more than the menu price and took over 45 minutes to get our food (zero warning it would take that long) and then tried to give us something else. We had to ask to get reimbursed and thus ate nothing after all...
