Browne Family Vineyards Tasting Room — Restaurant in Walla Walla

I loved the outdoor seating area and the decor inside; however, that is the only good thing that this place has to offer. My coworkers and I came in for a tasting and right away we didn’t feel very welcomed. We received our first pour and the lady left the counter and went in the back. After we finished our first pour, we had to wait 3-5 minutes for the lady to come back and give us our next. This happened in between all 5 pours. We were unable to ask any questions about the wine or the background of the winery. This lady was MIA the entire time. I am normally happy to pay $10 for a tasting because you get a decent pour and get to learn about the wines and the background of the vineyard. Well, this was not the case at Browne Family Vineyards - you get shallow pours and they could not care less about your business.

After having a less then desirable experience a year ago, we made it back again to at the very least get a bottle of their delicious Grenache rose. The staff was amazing this time. We were seated quickly and had a wonderful time. We were checked on multiple times by various staff who were always happy to answer any questions we had about the wine. My best friend and I came into Browne as our first stop for his birthday trip. I literally cannot express how BEYOND HAPPY we both were with Megan’s hospitality during our wine tasting. She was so beyond attentive, personable, and knowledgable about everything she handed us. We had never visited before, but this is now a new stop during our trip here. Megan’s presence was the entire reason we are so happy. She deserves all praise from the owners. 10/10...
