I had the pindhi chicken boti, 2 chicken samosas, and 2 potato samosas. The chicken had a nice charcoal aftertaste and good seasoning, and the peppers had a nice roasted type taste and accompanied the chicken well. The chicken seasoning had a dry sort of heat and was cooked very well, had a nice wholesome taste. The naan that came with it was not very good, but I didn't order the meal for the naan. The samosas were good and did have a fair amount of spice, but nothing I couldn't handle and were good that way. There was also a white cream kind of sauce around the naan, I'm not sure what that was, but I didn't like it. portion size was generous. service was nice and the restaurant itself pretty big, but only open for pickup due to the current labor shortage that...

I went for my first time today and ordered takeout of goat biryani and lamb/chicken mix gyro. After I tried it I called the store back and told the chef how delicious I think it is. The last time I had biryani this good it was at a south asian community center event where peoples grandmas was making it. Im just a white guy but this is up there with the best authentic iv had. Everythings seasoned right and the meats are fresh and juicy. This is the soul food that is hard to find unless ur in new york. Meriden wallingford area is very fortunate to have access to this. Horrible food. The first time I went there we ordered the chicken briyani and fried chicken. The fried chicken was good but the Briyani was rotten. Smelled like yogurt which it isn't all though that briyani is made with yogurt it isn't supposed to smell like yogurt. The next time we went he gave us samosa chaat which really wasn't that good the samosa had a bad filling and really wasn't good. The samosa was put in chotpoti/daal which was ok and was topped with a lot of chutney. Not worth it. Trust me. I'm a south Asian from Bangladesh and you can get much better food from Roti...
