Dulce's Antojitos #2 — Restaurant in Walnut Creek

I enjoy the food here and my boyfriend and I come here quite often because it’s nearby and we consider this our “go too” Mexican stop, the only problem is is that tonight we order a DoorDash delivery and i wasn’t expecting to receive a small baby burrito, i don’t understand why a super burrito is the same size as a regular burrito? it’s super for a reason, it’s supposed to have not only extra ingredients but added salsas as well, and we barely got any of that tonight. Because I’ve had experience working in a Mexican restaurant for more than 1 year , I can generally tell when the cooks are being stingy and when they’re not, Customers shouldn’t have to order a super burrito and not get what they’re asking for, it should be a decent amount size portion of each ingredient , beans , rice , meat, salsa , cheese , & sour cream. I’m assuming because we ordered through door dash and received a discount , they could low ball us in food. But in reality , all you’re doing is causing dissatisfaction and disappointment to your regular customers and that is how you slowly start to lose business, yes we might come here again but if you really want your moneys worth it’s best to order a burrito bowl instead of an...

The food is excellent. Only place I order from for delivery. Ive had....burrito bowl-carnitas, salsa is great, agua fresca, fruit cup, their carrot and diablo juice devine. Their coconut or mango (kindve like a fruit, refreshing cold dessert) also had their fruit with creme dessert. I'm stuck on those for 2 yrs now. I'm positive, ANYTHING you order from there, you'll love me for it!! Great taste, clean, not greasy, very fresh fruit n veggies, portions are good. I have not tried other menu items, got stuck on my initial order. Even though my order has been limited to the aforementioned above, I could honestly eat, drink or dessert there daily, it never gets old! Never been to site either. pssst...I spend no less than $40/order but ....uber eats my wallet! Add about $20+ more for their "free" delivery plus $2.99 for "at my door service" I'm lucky if I get my order AND uber eats does not refund or care if the correct person gets their order. 4 times in 2023 average of $70/order someone else enjoyed on my tab....

Decided to give this place a second chance. We ordered the same items as last time & man was it good

The Crunchy Shredded Chicken Tacos were hot & the shells were crunchy.

As for the regular burrito wet style, it was really good this time. It arrived hot & was full of meat. The sauce was still a bit salty but nowhere near as salty as last time.

Glad to see they have turned things around & have improved. We will definitely order again

I decided to try them for the first time after receiving an offer from DoorDash

The first thing we ordered was the Crunchy Shredded Chicken Tacos. The taco shells were very chewy & the chicken was dry. On top of that, the size of the tacos were half size from any other restaurant

The second item in our order was a regular burrito wet style. This also wasn't that good. The beans were dry & it was mostly rice & beans, barely any meat. It was also very salty.

Not sure if it was just a bad day but hopefully they can improve...
