2 nights ago we arrived to pick up our Chipotle order at 7 when it should have been ready according to the online order. The girl came to the window and told us it would be about 10 more minutes because the steak was not ready yet. At approximately 7:10 another girl came to the window and told us it would be about 15 more minutes until the steak was done. I asked at this time if she could process a refund of my order as my daughter’s food was getting cold. After a few minutes a male came to the window and stated he was unable to process a refund and I would have to call a phone number to get a refund. So I asked to just get the food. He said he just put the steak on the grill and it would be a few more minutes. We finally got our food at 7:22 and my husband asked the girl if everything was in the bag and she said yes. We got home and I noticed the bag was leaking grease and the carnitas meal was really cold (and not edible) so they must have just left it sitting on the counter for the 20+ minutes we were sitting there waiting for our order. I have reached out to the site and included a picture of the bag and a picture of the bottom of the tray. The chips were so stale they were not even edible. The bag was also missing the Napkin/Utensils that were requested and on the receipt . To say this was a 1 star quality visit is being generous! That I was so excited to have locally but at this point Wareham Chipotle is so terrible, I rather drive to Dartmouth. This is the WORST chipotle. I’ve never experienced such an inconsistent food ever. I have received multiple meals with hard uncooked rice. Like not cooked fully, portions are always different and flavors vary. The go through employees like crazy and they are either playing inappropriate music on a speaker or just zero customer service. I once had asked purchased a fountain drink with my meal, and before a the employee could check me out and give me a cup. Another women was at the cashier desk asking to return her cup because the beverage she wanted wasn’t available. The employee gave her, her money back and the cup. When I went to cash out the employee gave me the women’s cup that her hands were instead of a new one. And then had an attitude when I asked for something new. I have once sat in the Chipotle line for 45 minutes! On a prep ordered meal. They ran out of cheese and couldn’t make me a quesadilla that I had ordered instead of giving me a refund. Read moreWe have been looking forward to a new chipotle in the area, as the Hyannis location has been very inconsistent with store hours and missing ingredients. Unfortunately, this new location is actually WORSE than the one in Hyannis. Don't even bother ordering ahead for drive through or pickup. Your order won't be ready on time and you might as well get in line to have your food made right then. Their portions are SUPER small. This can be an issue at many Chipotle locations, but this place is by far the smallest portions we have ever had. The bowl is pretty much only filled about 25%. Extremely stingy serving sizes. If you order a double portion of meat, you won't even notice other than the extra charge on the bill. Very disappointed with this new location. Chipotle needs to get their act together with how they are training employees.
Update: We gave this location another chance and had a much better experience. Ordering ahead was still a waste of time as they didn't start on the order until we got there in the pickup lane. However, the employee was extremely nice and gave us good portions. The food tasted great! I guess it might be the luck of the draw on how good your experience will be at...
