Starbucks — Restaurant in Wareham

It's not in my nature to leave reviews of any fast food or chain styled restaurants unless they do something extremely noteworthy (positive or negative) to warrant the review.

I stopped at this Starbucks for a quick breakfast while at work. The store is relatively new and/or remodeled but it's done in a much more inviting way than most Starbucks lately. It seems like they actually want you to sit down and hang out. Plenty of tables and chairs, inside and out and even some games to kill time on one of the tables. It was just a nice inviting change of pace because I feel like Starbucks has moved more towards "get in, get out" or a drive thru style approach.

More importantly than the store tho was it's employees. All the women there (didn't see any men) were super kind. Talkative, not only with me bjt each other. Laughing and talking while working. They actually seemed to enjoy being there and their jobs. They were quick to make my food, apologetic for the wait (which there wasn't one to me) and super kind.

Overall I'd highly recommend this store if you're in the area. Not because Starbucks has the best coffee in the world but because this store was lovely and glowing and it made the overall 15 minutes experience of being in there so much better than some chain...

My coffee is always correct and tastes good but the only problem is the Mobile ordering. I’ll put my order in, then a few minutes later when i show up they tell me that i can’t get in line yet because the app didn’t say my drink was ready. Does it not take the same amount of time to make a drink regardless of if it was a mobile order or ordered at the window? So why does it matter that I’m in line? Not to mention the app says it takes them 12 minutes to make my one coffee, but then i go into the drive thru and it’s done within 2 minutes. I’ve never been told this at any other Starbucks…just doesn’t make any sense to me why i can’t be in the line…because everyone’s drinks in the line are also being made…they’ve had me literally leave the drive thru because of it and have me park to the side, then proceeded to bring my coffee out not even 20 seconds later. It’s just weird I’d rather go to any other, never have an issue...

I am giving this location a 4 star because of the great staff that works there that is until yesterday on Thanksgiving eve. We always bring our small dog who is only 7lbs and she is usually in our arms or doggie backpack and we sit down to eat a sandwich for lunch. When we were paying for our food the barista said would you like a bag and my spouse said no we will be eating here. Note she did not even ask if we wanted sandwiches warmed up. She then abruptly said well she cant be in here. My spouce said since when she has always been in here and when did that change and we always bring her in here. The barista came back and said well I have never seen her before but if course none of the staff there have we ever seen before. Needless to say we will not be going back anytime soon. The barista made us feel unwanted so I am giving that one...
