DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse — Local services in Wareham

I came looking for women's shoes and as long as your feet are skinny,great place to shop. If you have wider feet stay away, I didn't find any boxes out with wide or even double wide. Everything in the store including the discount racks were for regular or narrow feet. I take a 6.5 w/6.5ww but can't always just go up to a 7w/7ww - needed office shoes for new job. Very Disappointed. They always advertise about their huge selections...they are misleading & should just tell you they don't carry wide widths. I'd suggest either shopping online where you can return whatever doesn't fit or go down to Torrid [Wareham Crossing] bcuz I was very surprised to find that they carried my small size and in wide widths. I was able to buy (2) pairs of shoes, will be going back when boots come in. Torrid's prices were very reasonable. DSW prices are very high, only a great selection if you have narrow feet...which most of the buying public does not have. The DSW store is huge...are you really trying to bring in buyers? This store could easily have 1/2 of it dedicated to wide sizes. Maybe when it goes out of business, someone will put in a wide shoe store instead where they could really accommodate the buying public and at more reasonable prices. Not the DSW I grew up...

Honestly this was the first time I went in the store to look for a nice pair of sneakers and I had so many boxes lined up trying on different shoes and I couldn't make a decision and thank God the staff that work here so awesome this nice woman had to tell me what Pierre to get because I just couldn't make up my mind when I get more money I'm going to go back and buy as many pairs of sneakers as I can and I would like to get a nice pair of hiking boots I might go tonight as a matter of fact if I knew about this place years ago I would have been buying all my shoes there I didn't realize how many different brands they have so awesome I don't know any other words that can beat the word awesome but this place definitely is awesome can't wait to go back and buy more...

I've usually had good experiences at this store with customer service, always been helpful. Today I asked an associate if a pair of sandalscame in a different color. She said "what are they", looked at the box and said "do you have the app?" To which I replied "no". She gave the box back to me and said " I don't know we'd have to look it up and walk away from me, left me standing there. I waited for a minute to see if she was going to look it up but she just went to do something else. I said "ok are you able to check for me?" And she said "no I don't have a hand held you'll have to go wait Iine". Okkkk, thanks for telling me after the fact and not helping me.
