Pros and cons. First the pros. The sandwich itself was filled quite well very delicious. Second the cons. They asked me at the register if it was for here or to go, I said to go, and they asked me if I wanted pickles as in PICKLES PLURAL. I then waited for almost 30 minutes for my food there was about 6 other people in there waiting before me. I sat there close enough to the counter so that I could hear each customer go out to get their food, and every single customer that had requested it to go with the register, they still did not package it to go and put it on a plate, and I heard each customer tell them it was supposed to be to go. So when they finally called mine and I went up there and sure enough it was put on a plate to eat in, I had to tell them that it was supposed to be to go. They then asked me if I wanted pickles, even though I was asked at the register and said I did. They then put one very small sliver of a dill pickle spear in the package. There was one fresh slice of onion and it was the part from the very middle so it was very small. So the onion and pickle was literally enough to stretch for about four bites. I got the footlong sandwich so quite big. I was very disappointed that they could not put more than one pickle sliver in there for that size of a sandwich. I am including photos of that for you to get a visual however I took one bite of the pickle and ate the very small ring of fresh onion before I took the picture. Sorry, I didn't think of the picture until after that. So overall the sandwich itself was good, but for an $18 meal I expected to get more than one sliver of a pickle to go with a footlong sandwich and more onion than what they gave, it was very chensy, also I believe that 30 minute wait for them to make seven sandwiches it's kind of ridiculous. There was a line of workers so it should not have taken that long. I appreciate that they are made to order that is why I went to try this restaurant for the 1st time, however due to the wait and then being very chintzy on the condiments that go with the sandwich I will not go back.

Of all places. Went in for some lunch and read their story of how they donate to firehouses in need. I thought and still think that's pretty cool. Placed my order for the hot brisket sandwich, made it a medium and grabbed some Mac and cheese. It's no wonder they can donate to help the firefighters in need. My sandwich had just enough meat on it to call it a sandwich. I'd expect that from lesser businesses. It was more bread than anything. My fiance got the steak and cheese and his sandwich was about the same. Both were supposed to be mediums and we added drinks. Both were small drinks not sure if that's the standard or not. This was my first time ever dining with this establishment and it's my last. Thanks but no thanks $13 for just the sandwich and it wasn't hot or filling. Disappointed.

Last time I ate at a Firehouse Sub was back in New Mexico about 8 years ago. Wasn’t too fond of it cause the turkey smoke flavor was overpowering. Definitely wasn’t the case this go around. The Turkey Bacon Ranch was good. The Steak & Cheese was ok. Could have used more bell peppers. My kids Virginia ham was good as well. The pickles on the side seems locally made. Hit or miss on the taste. The staff were very friendly. Service was great. About $27 OTD for 2 mediums and 1 large.

This is usually one of my favorite go tos in this little town but the group of snobby girls working this evening really had me irritated by the time I left. Now I understand everyone has a rough day but the attitude I got for asking that something I asked for when ordering my food be fixed was completely unnecessary. When I arrived I was standing there quite awhile before anyone attempted to take my order but they all kept looking over at me. When I ordered I asked that my pickle be put in another container. I have asked for this before and it's never been an issue. I waited awhile which is nothing new here and I honestly don't mind but the online and door dash or whatever pick up service orders being more important than customers in store was frustrating to more than just me as was voiced by multiple customers. When my to go order was finally ready the girl didn't even give me a bag. Then I asked if the pickle was put in a separate container she snatched it back off the counter and slammed it down yanked the pickle out threw them in another container and shoved them both back up on the counter. She then proceeded to glare at me till I left. Seemed like a group of young girls with attitude problems tonight and if its the same crew I will be walking...
