Don't get me started here😅 The staff is pretty hit or miss when it comes to friendliness or knowledgeability. The truth is Starbucks as a rule falls victim to making bad coffee due to lack of proper training. It's all about speed & iced drinks or hot drinks loaded with sugar. Actual coffee drinks get sidelined and when one is ordered no one knows how to make it. This may be the worst flat white I have ever had in all of the US or Europe. Very little coffee taste, an extreme amount of foam that has been way over steamed, & way too hot. I actually brought my own coffee thermometer on one visit and my flat white had been steamed at over 180° & I didn't ask for it to be extra hot either. The shots themselves are alllll over the place which makes me think no one is consistently timing shots. I've tried ordering this every which way to get a drink that can be even swallowed and it always comes out the exact same. Even when ordering just espresso there's almost never a crema which has some to do with the Starbucks roasting process but also some to do with the height the shots are being dropped into a mug.
Just to be clear, I don't blame these specific employees. I have never been to a Starbucks with a different result than this. I do wish there was more consistency in how customers are charged at this location though. The atmosphere is decent & the seating is comfortable.
Giving a 1 star simply because the coffee really just is that bad. One extreme example of poor knowledgeability is when I asked a barista for a flat white with light foam & they suggested I try a cappuccino since they're the same drink. Noooo they are definitely not the same drink. You could even argue they're opposite drinks!😂

Read moreThe atmosphere was great and everyone was super nice, I asked if the barista knew how to make a purple drink. Would have gotten something else if she didn’t. But she told me she did rang it up as their new summer refresher and told me she’d have it ready in a minute. I sat down and was watching her make my drink and she started putting the bursting pearls in it and lemonade, so I checked with her to make sure she was making the right drink and she said it comes out kind of purple. I checked again and said when the pink drink became popular there was a purple drink too. (I should have just taken my phone with me for the recipe but I’m not glued to my phone so it was at home) she just kind of froze for a second and I’m not one to make a scene (plus I didn’t have the recipe) so I told her it was fine I’d take whatever she was making. Read moreDO NOT order doordash from here. They let your drinks sit for 5-15 minutes (maybe longer) before even thinking about bagging. Drive thru is priority yet they will make your drinks and let them sit there saying they don't have enough time to bag them. Horrible system and workers should speak up instead of hating dashers who want to deliver a good product. Edit: doordash doesn't need contacted. This is about the pack of customer service. Today there was an older gentleman I saw for the first time and it was the first time out of 30 times going there as a customer that I was met with a hello. The people working here will literally be laughing and talking sweetly with coworkers and then turn around with a rude voice and say 'what are you here for'...
