Down around the corner… East Greenwich, Rhode Island, hides a secret by the bay… McKinleys. It was bit difficult for me to find but well worth the effort. Ultimately, I had to ask some local people how to get here because GPS said i arrived when i was still a few buildings away. So I finally arrived and I sat at the bar where I was greeted promptly by Brandon who took my drink order. Non alcoholic Peroni. (They don’t have Bud Zero yet). As soon as I had a taste of my non-beer, Vanessa came and took my food order. Hey folks, in case you’ve all forgotten…. THIS is the way to treat your patrons! Don’t let them sit for half an hour before you even acknowledge them. So far, McKinleys is doing great. (I don’t want to spend my day in any restaurant.) The only way I can be disappointed now is if they don’t serve quality food…. Ok, it’s been a whole 10 minutes. Maybe. And my order of buffalo wings arrived. A very good sized serving, hot and delicious. Kudos. I’m definitely putting McKinleys on my radar! Im telling you blow by blow… my sandwich just delivered to me and I have just finished my wings. Love it! The french fries are fresh, hot, crunchy on the outside and tender inside. Just the way they are Supposed to be. And look at that chicken parm sandwich!! It’s HUGE. I won’t be able to the whole thing during this visit. It’s going to be my co-pilot when I leave. So McKinleys is another restaurant that you just have to try. I think you will all enjoy this food and drink. Just be patient when you think you’ve arrived. At the gate, when your GPS says you’re here… take a left, then immediate right. THEN...

Good place if you want to get JUMPED! My daughter and boyfriend went there for a drink with some friends for a birthday. On the way out they were jumped by two thugs from Prov. area, boyfriend was beat up and when my daughter tried to help and bring him back into car they broke her windshield and dragged him back out! If it wasn't for a patron that was leaving to help I'm sure they would of done worse damage. The police finally showed after 20min. They found the van these two thugs were in and one of them has a long list of arrests and also an active warrant! One of the managers from there was over heard stating to police "I had a feeling those two guys were trouble" A little too late, now she has to buy a new windshield...

First of all I wanna nominate Kristin for the sweetest barkeep on this coast. Secondly we ordered salads, yeah salads, you wanna make something of it?! Holy freshness, Batman. The grilled shrimp salad was crisp and lively with just barely charred shrimp. Super yum. The antipasto was great to share with upper end layered deli sliced prosciutto, capicola, salami, provolone, pepperoncini, and a great house vinaigrette. Now stop reading here if you are watching your waistline. The housemade chips are legendary for a reason. I dare you not to keep reaching for them long after your brain says, “dude!
