UPDATE: Everything was eventually made right. Today, the owner himself stopped by my house and presented me with my money back and coupons and apologized profusely, saying it never should have happened the way it did. I do appreciate him taking time out of his day to stop by ( even though I live a mile and a half from the restaurant, that’s besides the point ) he did not have to come apologize in person, but the fact that he did made all the difference and I will be giving them a second chance. All I ever ask for is things to be made right and things to be fair. That is what happened today. Thanks again for making this right I do appreciate it.
Contacted the owner in private after he reached out to me from this review. Said he would make it right by talking to his employees and manager and getting back to me with a follow up as well as sending me coupons in the mail. It’s been two weeks and I have still not heard back from him so I’m assuming nothings going to be done about it and I still have not been refunded for the four drinks and extra marinara cup that I had ordered and did not receive. Never will we be using this location again or any Donatos for that matter. I’m so tired of people saying things and never doing them. There’s so much wrong with customer service nowadays because nobody gives a damn. It’s sad, but that’s just how it is in today’s world unfortunately, but to me, that’s not OK. You gave me your word you would get back to me and you never did. Shame on you for taking my money and doing nothing about it.
Ordered on Donato’s website and our order was delivered by DoorDash. The order arrived without the four pops and two extra sauce cups that we ordered and our pizza was also wrong. I called the store and spoke with a manager who offered no help. Basically told me I was out of luck. I told her that’s not OK to rip someone off and offer them nothing. She did not even offer a refund to my credit card, or to write my name in the book for a free pizza or pops next time. She was absolutely useless in resolving this issue and extremely rude. So here we sit with a wrong order and some of it missing and they claim there’s nothing they can do about it because DoorDash delivered it. At the end, she told me that I could come into the store and get the pop, but I wouldn’t have had it delivered in the first place if I was going to go out. Then when I said I needed to talk to another manager or someone higher up, she hung up on me. This is the only Donatos we use, but we no longer will be using them. No customer service and nothing in place when you don’t get your order so hopefully everyone gets their order delivered correctly or you will be losing money using...
Read moreHorrible experience today!! We frequent our local Donatos. Tonight was ridiculous was told my pizza would be ready at 7:50 p.m. I was right on time as I was picking it up. The girl told me oh I don’t think that’s in yet I am thinking perfect it will be hot and fresh I paid then I sat on the bench right in front of the register my pizza was up for almost 20 minutes people came in after me got theirs. I then observed and mentally noted the girl who had her back to me with the blue gloves on touching her face, hair and even pulled her ear bud out her ear and put it in back in then picked a song on her phone and didn’t take her glove off I wasn’t going to say anything but after I sat there 15 minutes I finally interrupted her jam session knowing that was my pizza that had been up almost 20 minutes at this point I thought surely she didn’t forget that I just paid the cash for my order and am literally sitting right in front of their register so I look at the time realize it’s 8:16 her to ask if that was pizza sitting right in the window it was and had been sitting there almost 20 minutes. Manager was standing there doing nothing. And to make it worse she said “They were slow” and got it home after confirming several times the order was going to be made right for it to be wrong. Tried to call to get it replaced called the store directly and they didn’t want to answer. Call center noted it. I will be calling corporate and the gm in the morning. I work hard for my money and everything about this order tonight. Time and money wasted. Pics posted for proof and it was suppose to be half marachi beef and half with just the marachi chicken no tomato’s or jalapeños. The girl also forgot my sour cream which I asked for. I didn’t even want the pizza remade tonight after watching her touch her face and stuff with her gloves on which she finally acknowledged me and handed me the pizza she still had them on to cut and box someone else’s food. Read moreMy wife placed an order a couple weeks ago for pick up and we came in with our daughter to pick up the order. There was only 2 other people in the store who had already been helped and they were waiting on their orders. After about a minute an older man, maybe late 60s to 70s, came to the counter and had asked what we were there to pick up. The man had no teeth and was standing about 2 or 3 feet away from me across the counter and I was able to smell his abhorrent breath from where I was standing. He made the situation very uncomfortable for both me and my wife. We ended up not even eating the pizza because we were worried if he had made it. I'm not sure if that employee was on drugs or not because the way he was acting and walking around was very off-putting. After a few more minutes a younger man in a polo shirt who we had seen running around the kitchen prior had come up to the counter and helped ring out the order. He was polite and even apologized for the wait but that couldn't make up for my interaction with the older man. We would definitely come back if we knew that the older man wasn't working. He ruined the overall experience for us and we ended up eating elsewhere. I honestly do not believe that the older man should be employed by this...
