My wife and I have ordered from here every Saturday for a few months now - mostly out of convenience (we lived at Bridge Park) but also because when the food was actually prepared as requested, it was very good. However, only a couple of the dozens of orders were prepared properly and when finally confronted about the consistent mistakes we were treated very poorly.
Every weekend there was at least something wrong with our order. For the most part, they were small things - the bagel wasn't cut in half, they had to be reminded about the sauce on the side when we were picking up our food, etc. These were easily ignored, usually.
Other times, the bagels were prepared as subs. The items requested to be left off were included. The bagels were wet, slimy, and small, looking very unappetizing. Sauce on the side was on the bagel, and many times it would be the wrong sauce.
Nearly every weekend, there was something.
Finally, when my wife ordered her "Create Your Own" Everything Bagel that she (always) orders "Steamed Hot" and with the Garlic Balsamic Vinaigrette (on the side) was, once brought home, found to be cold and with mayonnaise.
I called, explained that we were regulars and firmly requested that this be made right as my wife is vegan and cannot "eat around" their mistake. The young man on the phone showed little to no remorse in response to their most current mistake, but did agree to remake it.
I arrived back at the store and presented the bag containing the incorrect item. I was told that they were preparing the replacement. Not once did I receive an apology.
The remade bagel was brought to me (very quickly, I should add, to be fair). I was then told that the reason for the mistake was that "They were busy" and that the reason the requested vinaigrette was not put on the first bagel was because it has been out of stock...almost as if he was suggesting that they just picked a random replacement sauce on the fly. I requested an alternative sauce that I knew my wife would like and it was handed to me, again with zero communication or apology.
I brought the "corrected" order home to my wife. They put it on the wrong kind of bagel.
We tried - we really did. It may sound crazy that we continued going, but like I said, when our order was even mostly correct, we could deal with it. But there's not much else to say about an establishment that allows this level of inconsistency and incompetency while offering little to no customer service.

Read moreHad the pesto chicken wrap. It was so good! Not dry like some wraps but wet/juicy! That's why I took a separate photo of the pesto juice stuff that was drippy ..so yum!! The roasted tomatoes were perfect. Wrap was so flavorful I would definitely get it again. More of a gourmet wrap rather than your typical dry boring wrap. I don't normally order potato salad but didn't want chips so thought why not. OMG- they need to promote that potato salad more. Gourmet!- it was roasted potatoes with skin on, perfect size of chopped/not giant chunks like some that I don't like, the flavor was like a bit smoky and a bit spicy and not too mayo or too mustardy but perfect, very flavorful and so glad I got it! Hubby had the Evie bagel and said it was good. They have a great bourbon selection so we got a bourbon neat to share after our sandwiches. This is random but the brown butcher paper wrap with a sticker for the sandwiches is a nice quality touch and added to the experience for me. We dined in and enjoyed reading all of the movie quotes that are painted on the wall and trying to remember which movies they were from. Neat stop for a weekday lunch date. We noticed several people stopping in to pick up orders so looks like it is a local...
Read moreI love trying new delis and places and thought I’d try this place which is located in the prime spot of bridge park. I should’ve just went to Katzingers. The guy taking orders was so frazzled and it wasn’t even busy. I ordered the Hof and a pasta salad. He gave me my sandwich and I asked for my pasta salad and he couldn’t have acted more bothered. At which time he handed me a fork, napkin, the tiny awful salad it turns out I wish I hadn’t ordered and no bag. So I just had to stroll to my car with sandwich, pasta and utensils in hand. I thought the sandwiches looked a little small in the pictures and quality of quantity is a great motto but when quality lacks then call it this place. I had to open the sandwich after my first bit to make sure something was in there. I got the tiniest tomato slice, a sprinkle of lettuce, minimal watered down sauce, and a small amount of meat. I will have to say the bread was very different and sweet in flavor but that’s all it has going for it. The picture reflects one small bite taken out of 1/2 of...
