Riverside Crossing Park Ice Rink — Local services in Washington Township

This is really fun to do during the holiday season or just on a cold winter night. It's $12 per person. The last time I went, they have skates up to a size 13, which I wear a 15 shoe, and the 13 fit me. You get to skate with a variety of levels from beginner to expert. I even saw some experts fall. They play fun holiday music and take in the holiday lights. Afterward, you can dine at any one of many downtown Dublin restaurants or grab some cocoa at a local cafe. There aren't many places to skate outside in Columbus, OH. I can think of two ponds (Blacklick Metropark, and Darby Battelle Metropark). By comparison this rink earns five stars, for the same reasons already mentioned in a previous review: shelter, heat, restrooms, and maintenance. In total transparency, it's an outdoor rink. It's not totally smooth, but it's a sheet of ice. Pavillion has a tended fireplace for warming up and restrooms for potty breaks. Rubber matting in the pavilion leading out to the rink. Strict NO STICKS OR PUCKS. I plan on practicing my skating...
