The French Store — Local services in Washington Township

My girl friend from Columbia was visiting and we had dinner in old Dublin. We were walking with our kids to get ice cream and decided to pop into this store.

We immediately noticed the smell and were drawn to the fragrance section. What came next was completely unexpected but so fun and enjoyable! Benjamin gave each of us a skin scent analysis. I was neutral and my friend was musk. Then we smelled a few categories of fragrances and he figured out what we might like. He sampled 4 on each of us, and analyzed if it opened well, or turned/didn’t smell well with our body’s base scent.

It felt like a true French experience where we each left the store with a “custom” scent. He gave us so much time and attention and was funny and personable.

The best part… I have been stopped in stores, at kids events or random places with people asking me what perfume I’m wearing. I have referred many people to this store since and I truly hope his business...

We stumbled upon this store when exploring Dublin. We went in and were browsing and then we were greeted by the owner. He told us about the pieces we were holding/looking at. It’s very clear he chose each piece that comes into the shop. He also went to great lengths to help me choose a perfume that I loved and complimented my natural chemistry. It was a very eye opening experience. I have just recently started getting into perfumes so this was so interesting to learn about. I did not feel pressured to buy the perfumes, but he really helped me nail down the scents that I like and how they complimented each other. The experience was like one you don’t see much anymore and the owner is one of a kind, he is a person you just want to be around. It is easy to see the care that goes into everything in the shop.
