Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Washington Township

I use to work at the Far hills location 5 years ago,my sister and I went to the Centerville location yesterday for lunch hopping to see my old co worker Michelle who had been the Manager there,when I asked the older lady whom I had already witnessed get rude with a customer when she asked her to simply add lettuce where Michelle was I mentioned I had worked with her and helped train her at the Far hills location..This woman proceeded to tell me No i didnt work there and didn't train Michelle WHAT ..LOL..I said excuse me but yes I did and named off every employee at the time of my employment when I mentioned Maggie who she told me is now the new manager at theCenterville store when I said oh she's nice still trying to be polite to this woman but she got even more hateful explaining that only if Maggie was there today working would she be a nice person,(side note)I have never been called a liar by a complete stranger,we sat down and ate so fast we didn't even order drinks we just wanted out of there because she\ continued on with her 2 other employees she was so loud and obnoxious and clearly should not have a job dealing with the public,several times she mentioned she was so made she couldn't see straight then put her coat on and walked outside leaving what appeared to be 2 trainees and from the looks on their faces I doubt they will be...

I try to leave fair reviews. Service was a 1star. Food was a 4star. Only thing that made the food a 4star is the bread was kinda hard. And service 1star because the redhead girl with glasses and ear rings. Everything was fine at first although she didn’t ask if I wanted it mikes way. Not a big deal I am a regular so I asked for it to be mikes way. And everything was still fine checking out and I asked for our number 16 to be cut in half when it comes out. And she said of course I will go tell the cook now. Well when it was brought out it was not cut in half. A little annoying but still not a big deal. I walked to the front of the line by the cash register but not invading the space of who was checking out. I was definitely noticed with the guy holding a sub in his hand. After the redhead girl cashed out the lady she ignored me and went on to making another sub. So I moved in front of the register so she wouldn’t have a choice but to talk to me before cashing out the next customer. And she said what do you need and I said the sub never got cut and she said put it down on the counter and I will cut it. Then she apologized. So she didn’t say anything rude but the fact I had to wait an extra five minutes for my wife’s sub to be cut in half cause she wanted to avoid me is enough for me not to...

Usually this is a great restaurant, but today they were so overwhelmed it was a terrible experience. I ordered online with the intention of just walking in to get my order and go. Thinking I would avoid any crowds due to the pandemic. My confirmation email said my order would be ready at 1:08pm. I waited in the parking lot until 1:07 and proceeded into the restaurant. I was immediately in awe at the amount of people both waiting for orders and in line for new orders. While I waited for my pick up order to be completed, several more people walked in and joined the line for new orders. I saw at least 3 people who entered the restaurant after me place orders and get served before my sub was made. I had at least a 15 minute head start on any of them and had to stand there and watch them get served. I was on my hour lunch period and finally had to ask at the counter for my order. I understand that the restaurant was extremely busy and they were understaffed, but they should have taken the customers first come. I'll definitely think twice before purchasing from this...
