Hi! I loved this Starbucks, I am a local student around here and never have really had much of a problem here. I spend probably 6-8 hours a week at this place whether it’s a Bible study at 6 o’clock in the morning or a study session for 3 hours after school I spend a lot of time here. I have even made jokes with some of the barista about getting a job because I stay for practically a full shift. Anyways, there is this one barista that I never really have had great interaction with. Always stern, never smiling even when I try to be nice or have a conversation, just overall not friendly. Which is unfortunate because none of the other baristas are like that, all the others are cheerful and will carry a conversation. I’m not saying that a Starbucks worker needs to be the most chatty, charismatic, cheerful person, no, I just wish that she wasn’t rude, that’s all. Now you may be wondering, why the heck would you write a review just over a barista not smiling at you? I wouldn’t have, i would have loved to just ignore that one thing about this place but today, she went out of her way to come a be rude. Today I had another one of my study sessions, I had friends coming in and out that I was studying for a test with and I was there for about 3 and half hours. Around the end of my time there I was approaching 7:00 pm, mind you this place closes at 9 pm, I had decided that I needed to eat some dinner because I had somewhere I had to be after this so I just pulled out my dinner and started eating it. I had long gotten drinks, and I had thrown away the cup, my friend had also long gotten drinks and at this point, we had finished studying, we were having a serious conversation when this barista came up. She had informed my friend and I that to be seated in the Starbucks we would have to have ordered drinks. My friend and I assured her that we had already ordered drinks and that we have just been here for a long time. But she was not having it, she mumbled as if she was trying to come up with something else to disagree on, and she decided she didn’t like my dinner saying “ if you read you would see it say on the door no outside food, I get food and drinks from here all the time, also there is no one else in the Starbucks at this point, I felt like she was looking for any reason to kick us out of the Starbucks. Which respectfully, you guys close at 9 not 7. As someone who works in food service I understand that sometimes you just wanna go home, but from a child to a full grown adult, it’s crazy that I can be more professional than you. I ended up buying another drink to prove my loyalty to this Starbucks but it’s kinda absurd that she felt the need to come and harass me and my friend the only other people in this Starbucks. I was just kinda disappointed and I wish that there was more sympathy from the lady. I like to think she was having a bad a day and just felt the need to blow off some steam and yell at 2 teens. I hope that help her. Please just be kind and understanding, I don’t feel like it’s that hard.
Thank you so much, Local High...
Read moreChristmas morning my wife asks me to go pick up her Starbucks online order. I said babe they have to be closed. She says no they’re open it says it online and it allowed me to order. I drive to Starbucks at perimeter and they appear to be closed, at that time several other cars pull up. We all discussed in the parking lot how the app allowed us to place orders weird. After the holiday was over my wife calls to request a refund or get her drinks she paid for on the app. The girl he/she/it at Starbucks accused her of lying and hangs up on her. So my wife drives there and The same girl tells my wife she’s a thief and other people have came in with the same complaint. Yeah duh there was a line of cars there Christmas morning. She said all the other people have all said the same thing “same drink, same scenario and they’ve all said they’re loyal customers”. Well same drink is far fetched but it’s very likely yes that some of ur loyal customers that attempted to get Starbucks on Christmas morning. The girl was very rude and accused my wife of being a thief. My wife left in tears. We live in Muirfield area and have no desire to steal $11 worth of Starbucks.
I told my wife we will go down there today after work and get this resolved and they want to accuse of being thief’s we will call the police and have them come down to Starbucks.
My wife has been going to this Starbucks 4 times a week for several years and she will not be going back.
Starbucks here’s some advice. If you are going to close your business for a holiday SHUT OFF the ability to place online orders and fire the rude girl that...
Read moreIt's clean and the coffee is fine, but it seems like whenever I'm there I'm interrupting the people working there who are carrying on their own conversations. I'm glad they like each other and I think work should be fun - but when a customer walks in it shouldn't be hard to change your attention. Also I ordered something in my re-usable Starbucks cup that I purchased in that store... and when I placed my order with that cup they asked me "what size"? Really? The size of the cup you sold me please. I said "whatever is supposed to fit in that cup" and she told me I can get it filled up if I get a Grande, or part filled if I order a Tall. I use that cup in every Starbucks I go to, and I've never been asked that question. At the end of my visit I was waiting on my Americano - I asked for room for cream, and the person filling it up didn't apparently know this, and even when I was saying it to her as she was filling it - she was talking to someone else and didn't hear me and then when she finally realized I was talking to her she did pour some out, which dripped down the side of the cup, and then handed it to me like that. Oh... and there was no cream in the cream pitcher. So basically - a clean store that needs a good manager, and some attention to customer service and details. The one inside the Giant Eagle across the street is...
