BEWARE!!!!! The customer service here very is poor. The cashier barely knows how to add. It took her 3 to 4 times to get my price right for my order. Once she did, she forgot to add on the hush puppies for my daughter. I asked her to charge me for the hush puppies and I will pay separate. However, she ended up canceling my whole order which that intern locked my money up on my credit card. The manager SINTHYA was angry with her, making angry faces at her, asking her how did you end up doing that! She agreed that she should’ve charge me separately like I ask, but yet, she was very dismissive to me as a customer and how I was affected by her careless mistake. It was the end of the night I asked to be accommodated with a free bag, they said they could not do that! The manager said she could give me free drinks…crazy! It was their mistake. She then said I can give you 20% off of your order the next time I come. I told her why would I want to come back and you guys couldn’t even accommodate me this time. She gave me a slip stating that my order ($120.00) was voided. She said she had to wait until 10:05pm when they closed the registers to see all the returns and the money will be back on my card. She then told me, unfortunately the kitchen closes at 9:45 PM. I said it was you guys negligence this happened. My money is locked up in your system. I cannot get nothing else to eat it’s Sunday everything is closing and yet you guys have no empathy for your customer. Another customer seen how upset I was, how unaccommodating they were, offered to buy me some food. I ask the cashier since you guys would not accommodate me with the entire bag and someone is paying for it, can you make it a whole pound of shrimp instead of a 1/2 for the inconvenience. She went to the back, they were going back-and-forth really loud for about five or six minutes! At this time it was 9:40PM, the guy had to go, plus the cashier never took my actual order from the guy who was paying. The energy was so negative. My head was hurting from the whole encounter. To go into an establishment that is poorly managed with poorly trained staff, and little to none customer service was so frustrating. I didn’t even want the food at this point. I’m a true believer that energy is transferred into all things. The guy ended up leaving. I was so furious about my money, no food, no empathy! After about 10 minutes the cashier says here we have a half a pound of free shrimp for you! I said I don’t want it. I don’t feel safe eating it after all the arguing, you guys did about giving me the food when someone was willing to pay for a meal for me. I stayed until 10:10PM, the manager SYNTHYA said my money should be back on my card and it still wasn’t. I asked for the number and her name. Today is the next day, Monday (Columbus day), and I still don’t see the transaction refunded back to my card. I called up there yet again still attitude! I asked SYNTHYA for the owners name and contact information because she said there’s no one over top of her, but the owner. She said she only knew the owners first name…DANIEL and she didn’t know how to get in contact with him….LIES!!! Now she’s on the phone telling me she tried accommodate me which was a lie!! Read moreI must say I was looking forward to coming to this restaurant at the beginning when it.stated BOOM BOOM CRAB was coming soon. When it finally opened up I was excited to try there seafood. I tried Catfish for the first time in my life and nothing but BOOM BOOM came to mind because it was absolutely delicious. There are some good seafood places in DC but this by far might be the best and I mean THEE BEST EVER. I love all of there seafood but something about the Fried Catfish just touched my heart soul and appetite in a great BIG WAY. Not only was the food great but service was absolutely amazing from the server's, to the hostesses, the supervisor and manager. I also have to give a special S/O to Torri and Sinthya for great customer service and making me feel right at home. They were outstanding. If you are looking for a good time and great seafood I truly recommend this beautiful restaurant. The music is live, the employees are pleasant, friendly family oriented and the bar will be open starting next Friday so it will be extra lit. I'll be back then with my family and friends. Read moreI just came here yesterday at 2:30 in the afternoon. I was so excited that home depot actually opened a seafood restaurant. I was so excited to try it right away. It tasted great for the first time. I ordered an extra chili sauce for $2. 3 people ordered a set meal of 68$, the amount is super Too much. Immediately invited another friend the next day. My friend likes to have whole shrimp. We ordered an extra half pound for $10. I ordered another hot sauce. The experience on the second day made me very disappointed. , the $10 whole shrimp has only 5 pieces, 3 more shrimp heads, and the shrimp meat is still rotten and stale. This is why we paid for half a pound of shrimp (I suspect that the shrimp has been eaten) and told the front desk lady, she just Let's wait until 18 minutes, no one comes to talk to us, we are very hungry. Don't wait any longer. Attitude is really important! ! We didn't get respect, we also gave the waiter a 20% service charge, I know it has nothing to do with him. But we won't go again..
