This place is amazing! There is so much I could say...but that says it all in 4 words.

Why is it amazing you say? The food is to die for...everything we had was tasty, fresh, and everything you would want in home cooked comfort food.

That said, good food is nothing if the staff is a disappointment. Chrislyn's staff treats you like family the moment you walk in the door. Everyone there was helpful and friendly.

As it turns out, Chrislyn herself was our guide to their culinary delights. She took the time to explain all the yummy details about the dishes and our options. She even made us up a tasting plate of her various salads.. simply put, she went out of her way to help us choose our perfect lunch.

In the end, we had a beautiful lunch on the porch and ended up grabbing dinner for the next few days..

If your in town on a day trip ( like we were) or a local who hasn't had the pleasure of Carryout befor..you are missing out...skip the trendy stuff down by the water and grab some Carryout...

We got Carryout By Chrislyn for my wedding and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the service was amazing. Chrislyn was very patient and helpful throughout the entire preliminary process leading up to the day of the wedding. Her staff was extremely professional during the wedding itself and went above and beyond to provide any type of help we needed. I HIGHLY recommend Carryout by Chrislyn if you have an important event to cater if you are in the Washington, NC area. I will definitely be stopping by her store in the future to pick up snacks and morsels as my new wife and I want to try MORE...

We love Carryout By Chrislyn. Her food is so wonderful. She makes up new recipes and keeps her food interesting. And u may think she is a little expensive, but when u pick up, for instance her Chicken Pot Pie, it weighs between 4 and 5 pounds. You get your money's worth. She made a Chocolate Raspberry cake for my daughter's 30th birthday and it had to feed 100 people. Everybody just raved about it. She also feeds communities that have been devastated.
