UPDATE 2 (11-2024): Came in this morning and the music was no longer at an average of 76 dB. It's down to 71, which is 5 times softer! It's a great level to enjoy the music or have a conversation. I'm not sure if this is the new norm, but if it is, kudos to the team! Thank you. It was an enjoyable stay. Upgrading from 3 to 4 stars.

UPDATE: I looked at other low reviews and see that they all have the exact same response from the company, indicating I should email them or go to the app to "resolve" the situation. I do hope that this is not necessary. It's clear what I think should happen and I don't need to reach out on another platform to share the same info. And it looks like others have similar experiences as I did, as well as some poor customer service. This should be addressed immediately.

Original review: Wonderful layout, good food and delicious drinks. Ambience is great EXCEPT for the unnecessarily loud music. I would give the place FIVE stars if the music were at a reasonable level for me to have a meeting or sit and work a spell. It's one of those places where the music is on just for the employees. Every time I come here, it's the same. That's why I don't come here now often. You'd have more guests come here if you just...

If you want lunch I suggest you donot go to Joe & the Juice. If you want literally only coffee or juice, then you’re safe. The food here is overpriced and generally tasteless—and pastries often stale—for what you get. For an example, see sandwich photo attached. The sandwiches, specifically, are messy and thin… usually they have a strong “burnt” taste due to the thin bread choice that overpowers whatever is in the sandwich. The smoothies aren’t great and often chunky, not blended enough, as you’ll see from other similar reviews on this page. At this point I have two alternate similar options when I want lunch at work: Cosi restaurant across the street has great take-out flatbread style sandwiches if you want those. Protein Bar across Farragut Square has great smoothies if you want those, but Protein Bar temporarily closed due to Covid so YMMV. The vibe and decor in Joe & the Juice is nice and will impress folks who’ve never been before. Just be sure to order only coffee or juice or you’ll ruin...

So I go in there after having driving 25 minutes just to get some fresh juice it’s my second time there. Mind you it’s 6:15 pm they close at 7:00 pm. The women is cleaning preparing for close. The look on her face is one of disgust. I happened to arrive at the same time as two other people. I order carrot and apple juice. I watch her juice my drink with one large carrot the other one on the counter rolls off the counter and on to the floor, instead of replacing it or just washing it off she jams more apples into the Juicer and calls it done. I don’t like to argue or fuss with people because it only effects the one who is fussing. I will say though the women needs to find other work for she seems Ill suited for the one she has. It a service gig requiring performing and service for people who pay for service. I tipped her the 25 percent because service jobs are difficult and feel her pain. Nevertheless she wasn’t a good representative of the business. If I wanted apple juice I would...

It’s a shame that I have to give this place a one star review because I usually love açaí bowls and smoothies. However my açaí bowl was icy, hard and not smooth at all. It was very clear that it was pre frozen and not blended. The customer service was unfriendly, rude and very unhelpful. They rung in a juice order without asking me what size I wanted. My tunacado was cold -not even room temperature - and when I asked for it to be re-warmed I was condescendingly told that only the bread is served warm and the rest of the ingredients are cold. It doesn’t matter how something is served. If the customer asks for it to be warmed, at the very least they should have been told nicely that the request could not be fulfilled. The only thing that I don’t have a complaint about was the juice which was delicious. If you want a good joe and the juice experience, don’t come here. This location needs serious help and the whole staff clearly does not want to be working with customers.
